Removethe oil fill dipstickandwipeit clean. 3. Insertandtightendipstick.Removeit to checkthe oil level. 4. If the oil levelis nearor belowthe lowerlimit markonthe dipstick,remove the oil filler cap/dipstick,andfill with the recommended oil to the upper limit mark.Donot overfill. 5. Reinstallthe oil fill dipstick. ChangeEngineOil Gasolineand its vaporsare extremely flammable andexplosive.Fireor explosioncancausesevereburnsor death. Change engineoilafterthefirstfivehoursofoperation, andeveryfifty hoursor onceaseason thereafter. Withengineoff but still warm,disconnectthe sparkplugwire andkeepit awayfromthe sparkplug. 2. Placeasuitablecontainernext to theengineto catchthe usedoil. 3. Removethe oil fill dipstickanddrainthe oil into the containerbytippingthe enginetowardthe oil filler neck.SeeFigure14. Usedoil is a hazardouswaste product. Dispose of usedoil properly. Donot discardwith householdwaste. Checkwith your localauthorities or Sears ServiceCenterfor safe disposal/recyclingfacilities.
