2.1Installation
Toinstalltheswitch,pleasefollowthesestepslistedbelow:
1. Turnoffyourcomputerandunplugthepowercordandallcables.
2. Removeyourcomputerscasecover
3. Unplugthethepowercableandresetcablefrommotherboard
4. LocateanavailablePCIorPCIeslot
5. Removethescrewthatsecurestheblackplate(thesmallpieceofmetalthatcoversthe
openingforPCIecardonthebackpanelofyourcomputer),thenremovethebackplate.
6. Carefullyinserttheswitch(internalconnectionpart)intothePCI/PCIeslot,thenconnect
the“POWERSW”and“RESETSWtotherightpositioninthemotherboard.Donottouch
themetalconnectorontheinternalpart(RefertotheFigure1.1)
7. Securetheswitch(internalconnectionpart)tothecaseusingthescrewyouremoved
fromthebackplate
8. Reinstallyourcomputerscasecover
9. Pluginthepowercordandothercables,andthenpressthepowerbuttonofswitchto
turnonthecomputer

1. Can’tturnonthecomputerbypressingthepowerbutton
PleasecheckiftheLEDindicatorwillblinkwhenpressingPowerbuttonorResetbutton,
Ifdoesn’tblink,itshowsyoushouldchangethebattery.
Ifblink,butstillcan’tturnonthecomputer,pleasetrydoasthefollowingsteps:
(1) Unplugthecomputerspowercord,pullandplugtheconnectioncardforseveraltimes,
usetheeraserwipethegoldfinger,replugthecard
(2) CheckifthePOWERSWandRESETSWputinthecorrectposition,besuretheyarenot
loose
2. Pressingthebutton,theLEDindicatorofswitchandcardbothlight,butstillcan’tturnon
thecomputer
Solution:needtorematch
Matchingmethod:longpressthePowerbuttonandResetbuttonatthesametime,untilthe
indicatorlightcontinuousflashforfivetimes(Don’tusethismethodifnotnecessary)
