Contact Dakota Alert:32556 477th Ave. Elk Point, SD 57025ph: 605.356.2772www.DakotaAlert.comDCT4000 INSTRUCTIONSDCT4000Coding transmitter to the DCR-4000Need to have receiver and transmitter together to start this process1) Open the lid and install 9 volt battery in DCT-4000.2) Follow Coding Tune instructions in DCR-4000. 3) To activate the transmitter, press the small button on the PCB (Figure 2).OPERATION: The DCT-4000 will detect a vehicle that drives over the rubber hose.Mount the black transmitter box on a post near the driveway and connect the 25’ hose to the nipple at the bottom of the case. Lay the hose across the driveway. As a car drives over the hose a signal will be sent to the DCR-4000.DCR-4000Volume is controlled with the VOLUME button, 4 levels and OFF.Press and release the VOLUME button to select desired volume level.CODING TUNENeed to have receiver and transmitter together to start this process1) Push and hold the MODE and VOLUME buttons (Figure 1) for three seconds.2) When all four lights ash, release the buttons. 3) Press and toggle the VOLUME button to select desired tune (12 dierent tunes to choose).4) After you have chosen a tune, activate the transmitter and you will hear a beep from the DCR-4000.5) If you are coding more than one transmitter, repeat steps 3 and 4.6) After the transmitter(s) are coded, press and hold the MODE and VOLUME buttons for one second and release once the four lights ash.7) To test transmitter tune, activate the transmitter and you will hear the selected tune hear through receiver and the lights will ash.ERASING CODING FROM DCR2500, 1) Push and hold the MODE and VOLUME buttons for three seconds, you will see all 4 lights ash, then release.2) Push and hold the MODE and VOLUME buttons for ve seconds, the 4 lights will ash, then release.3) All the codes have now been erased. Repeat the CODING TUNE section for the various transmitters.NOTE: This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules.
