TRX Enclosure Mounting Instructions
The TRX is constructed to readily mount to various types of metal enclosures (cages). Mounting of the
TRX is most easily accomplished with two people. A typical procedure is as follows:
1. Locate the TRX mounting hardware, e.g., bolts (2), washers (2), and nuts(2).
2. Slide the bolt heads into the slots on the backplate of the TRX. Typically one bolt in each slot.
3. From inside the cage, place the TRX with the backplate facing the cage wall such that the shaft
of each bolt passes thru the cage wall.
4. Ensure that the cable connector socket is accessible from outside the cage
5. From outside the cage, slide a large washer over the shaft of each bolt.
6. Thread a nut onto the shaft of the bolt and tighten until the assembly is secure.
7. Attach the cable by inserting the plug into the connector jack on the TRX backplate and
simultaneously push and rotate the plug until it slide into place.
8. Connect the other end of the TRX cable to a CLC port either directly or by other means.
9. TRX installation is complete.
