TV Function
Getting Started

1. Plug the Power Cable into AC In on the back of the TV
(When you input power cord, LED turn on after 5~8 second.)
2. Press [Power] button on the Remote Controller or Front Panel of it.
3. Change Channel by pushing Channel +/- [w / - ] button or number keys on the Remote Controller.
4. Press ‘Volume +/- [ - / - ] to adjust volume level.
*The current source mode and the channel number are shown up in the topsright corner of the
screen.
*Check the Antenna and Power Cable Connection if there is no display.
Channel Edit and Source Select
Scanning Channels (Automatic)
This Will scan all the available TV Channels. Channel scan should be done before using this product.
*Bef0re scanning, it is recommended to set the region you live because the scanning range of
frequency can be different from its factory default.
1. Press MENU [.] button on the remote control and
navigate by pushing Channel [ - / ' ] button to select
‘Channel’ menu.
2. Press Volume + [ ~ ] button to enter‘Channel Menu’.
3. Set yourTV reception method among [Air/CabIe/Hrc/Irc],
4. Push Channel [ - I - Jbutton to seiect[@][Auto Search]
and press Volume [ ~ / . ] button again, and then the
channels are searched automatically.
5. Press Channel [ - / ~.] button to display the scanned
channels. Only scanned channels are on display.
Tip
To do channel search, set the TV reception method, such as ‘Air', ‘Cable STD', ‘Cable Hrc' or ‘Cable Irc'. All the
available Digital (ATSC) and Analog (NTSC) TV channels are scanned in each TV reception method and stored
after the channel scan. When you watch TV, the channel system is set DTV as a factory default and can be
changed by pushing DTV/TV button on Remote Controller:
Tip
All the current stored channels will be deleted or replaced with new channel information after doing ‘Auto
Search’. However, this is only applicable when at least one new channel is scanned and stored. If it is tenni—
nated Without any newly scanned channel, the preVious channel information is kept.

Channel Edit — Store or Delete the channels.
This explains how to store or delete channels manually.

*The right Slde of the menu is for the current available or Stored channels Before you Watch TV, as mentioned,
Channel Scan Should be done.
To Store/Memorize a Channel
1. Press INFO (OK) [@] button on the one you select and then input Channel Number.
2. Press INFO (OK) [@] button agaln and the channel configurations will be stored.
To delete a Channel
1. Select the channel you would like to delete by manipulating Volume [ - / - ] or Channel
[3 / fl] buttons on Remote Controller:

TV Function
Using Favorite (FAV) Channel Function
Favorite Channel Function is to ease channel change among your frequent watching or favorite
channel by separately memorizing them in FAV.
To Register as Favorite Channel
1. Press Channel ["v / ii] or Volume [ ; / -‘] buttons to select the channel you would like to register in
the available channel menu on the right side of display.
2. Press ‘FAV' button on the selected one to register it as a favorite channel
3. The registered one is displayed in ‘Favorite Channel’, located at the bottom left of the display
(Digital lV Channel) (Analog lV Cnannell
* After you finish favorite channel registration, by each pressing of FAV, you can change the channels
between them.
Tip
i=Av function manages Digital TV Channels and Analog ones separately. For instance, if [FAV] button is
pressed under Digital "rv System (DTV), only DTV channels that is preset channels are displayed. To use in
Analog, press DTV/TV button on Remote Controller to change the mode to Analog and push [FAV]buttdn.

TV Function
Displaying EPG (Electronic Program Guide)
EPG is available only when you watch Digitai TV. EPG displays TV Programs with reference to
a channel and time intervai.
1. Press [EPG] button on the remote controi during watching HD TV Program.
2. Press Direction buttons to navigate Programs with reference to each channel.
3. You can check the program scheduie with reference to a channel and see program information by
pushing [INFO][@] button.
*Not aii the programs have information in it. The program With information has information icon in EPG.
Viewing the Information
The information identifies the current channel and status of certain audio and video settings.

1. Press [INFO] [@] button on the remote controi during watching TV.
2. The TV will display the channei, the type of sound and status of certain audio/video settings.
3. The information screen automaticaliy disappears after about ten seconds or manually by pushing [INFO]
[@] button again.
Tip
The information window will disappear about 10 seconds later.

Changing the Input mode
This explains how to change and watch other Input Sources by pushing AV.SEl_ buttons.

*The Connected (Available) external devices or port is brightened with “Connected" message while
deactivated ones are in gray and With “Not Connected" message.

You can change the Aspect Ratio to 4:3, 14:9, Panorama and Wide.

Changing the Preset Picture Mode
YourTV has several factow presets which allow you to control the picture.
Press [PIC.MODE] button on the remote control.

3. In [Picture] menu, select [Picture Mode] with
Channel[< / . 1 button and manipulating
Volume [ 4 / f ] button to until “Custom"
appears.

Brightness, Contrast, Sharpness, Tint and
Color and than adjust the values with
Volume[ - /~ ] button.

Adjusting the Equalizer
This expiains how to set and adjust equalizer.
1. Press MENU [.] button on the remote controi.

‘[Sound]' [flu] menu and push Volume [ - ]

3. In [Sound] menu, seiect [Equaiizer] With
Channei[ - / - ] button and push Volume[ - ]
button.
4. Select the Frequency to be set by pressing

5. Adjust the Ievei properly by pressing Channei

Automatic Volume Level Control
Auto Volume normaiizes the different sound volume level that can be different in broadcast
station. This lets you have adjusted mean vaiue of volume level per channel.

Setting MTS (Multi Track Sound) Mode
You can adjust the Stereo or MTS function manually.
1. Press [MTS] button on the remote control.
> Stereo/ Mono
You can select between ‘Stereo’ and ‘Mono' when the Stereo broadcasting is received.
7 Stereo: Two speakers out (2 Channels, Left/Right) and the different sound per channel.
— Mono: Two speakers out but both channel has the same signal (the identical sound).
> Separate Audio Program
You can select the Dual HI which is ‘Main sound', ‘Sub sound' or ‘Main+Sub sound’ when the
broadcasting, which is usually a foreign translation together, is received.
7 Main sound: Listen to main sound or language.
— Sub sound: Listen to secondary sound or language instead of main.
*Other input sources than TV Signal, MTS is working only in R, L or R/L Mix mode.

Changing the OSD Menu language
You can change the OSD Menu Language.
1. Press MENU [.] button on the remote
controller
2. Press Channel [ i / - ] button to select‘[Set
Up]’ [K] menu and push Volume [ - ] button
3. In [Set Up] menu, select [Language] With
Channel [‘ ~ / - ] button.
4. Change Language by pressing Voiume[ ~ / . ]
button.

Setting the Blue Screen
If no signal is being received or the signal is very weak, a blue back screen is automatically
displayed instead of the noisy image.
1. Press MENU [.] button on the remote control.
2. Press Channel [w / - ] button to select
‘[Setup]’ [N menu and push Volume [ 5]
button to be in.
3. Select [Blue Screen] by pressing Channel
[ - / - ]butt0n.
4. Set ‘On' by pressing Voiume[ - /- ] button.

Additional Function
Setting the Current Time (Time Zone)
Time Zone setting is required For setting the time and receiving EPG properly. Once system time is
set, all the relevant functions such as timer are available.
1. Press MENU [ .] button on the remote control.
2. Select Setup [ \] menu by pressing Channel [ - / - ] button.
3. Press Volume [ - ] button, select ‘Time' With Channel [ t / - J button and press Volume [ 5 ]
button again.
4. Select [Time Zone] by pressing Volume [ ;/ 5 ] button.
. When configuration is done, press MENU [.] button to save the changes and exit.

Tip
The current time is automatically received or synchronized by Digital TV EPG
Once Digital TV channel information is set and stored, it is not required for setting the time.
The current time can be check by pressing info [@1 button on the remote controller.
Automatic Power On and Off
If no signal is being received or the signal is very weak, a blue back screen is automatically
displayed instead of the noisy image.

You can adjust the channel and volume level when the Tv turns on.
Adjust them on [On Time Volume] With pressign Channel[ - / . 1 and Volume[ . /~'] button.
Time is automatically set, once you set the Time Zone and then watch a DTV channel.
After Time IS set, you can use oh Timer and Off Timer functions.
