NEMA Marine Enclosure Mounting PL-XM Backbox Product Installation Drawing Document # 50008 Rev. A ECN:93-281 All cabinets should be mounted to the NEMA backplate prior to mounting in the NEMA enclosure. Use the supplied mounting hardware (#10-32 for the AFP-200 cabinet or 1/4-20 for SBB-X3 cabinets). The mounting holes labeled A in the illustration below are used for mounting the AFP-200 backbox. The holes labeled B are for SBB-A3 backbox installations. Note: The PL-BM mounting plate (now shown) will only mount an SSB-B3 backbox. When mounting the plate to the NEMA enclosure, use the hardware provided with the plate. Refer to the documentation supplied with the NEMA enclosure for complete installation instructions. THIS END UP A A B B A A B B NEMA PLATE (Dress Panel PL-A3) BACKBOX â â NEMA PLATE (Dress Panel) Document 50008 Rev A 2/14/94 An AFP-200 installation requiring Lloyds Registry approval must use a Ferrite Shield Bead as an RF Filter. The Hot and Neutral wires which are attached to the AFP-200 AC power terminals must be wrapped through the Ferrite Shield Bead so that each wire passes through the Bead twice, as illustrated below. Wrap the Neutral and Hot wires through the Ferrite Bead as shown TO AC POWER SOURCE GROUND NEUTRAL HOT Document 50008 Rev A 2/14/94
