All cabinets should be mounted to the NEMA backplate prior to mounting in the NEMA enclosure.
Use the supplied mounting hardware (#10-32 for the AFP-200 cabinet or 1/4-20 for SBB-X3 cabi-
nets). The mounting holes labeled A in the illustration below are used for mounting the AFP-200
backbox. The holes labeled B are for SBB-A3 backbox installations. Note: The PL-BM mounting
plate (now shown) will only mount an SSB-B3 backbox.
When mounting the plate to the NEMA enclosure, use the hardware provided with the plate. Refer to
the documentation supplied with the NEMA enclosure for complete installation instructions.

An AFP-200 installation requiring Lloyds Registry approval must use a Ferrite Shield Bead as an RF
Filter. The Hot and Neutral wires which are attached to the AFP-200 AC power terminals must be
wrapped through the Ferrite Shield Bead so that each wire passes through the Bead twice, as illus-
trated below.
