CODAN

Now more is less.
At Codan we understand it’s tough today to afford a tactical High
Frequency (HF) radio system that has all the features you desire,
without compromising on essentials like durability and security.
That’s why we’ve created the Codan Sentry-H Software-Defined Radio with next generation Digital Voice, 3G ALE (future)
and Frequency Hopping. It’s the most robust and affordable
high-power radio we’ve ever built for voice and data communications, delivered in a small form-factor that’s ideal for mobile and base
configurations.
Codan Sentry’s advanced SDR architecture means you can
upgrade any time in the future to ensure sustainability in today’s
challenging conditions. What’s more with Codan’s intelligent
handset that can be configured to local languages, end-users
require less training than other competitor radios and are able to
respond faster when it counts. When you can’t afford to compromise on performance or features, the Codan Sentry-H provides
unbeatable value for money.

Base
A Codan Sentry-H base configuration
delivers reliable and powerful communications over vast distances with
power outputs from 150 to 1000 W.
The ruggedised RF units versatile design makes installation into permanent
and temporary bases simple, and it
operates from wide ranging DC and AC
power sources.
We realise that every organisations’
needs are different. That’s why we
provide a choice of control options
for your Codan Sentry-H system,
including a robust hand-held and
indoor desk console.

Benefits
Robust
After fifty years of supplying radios into the harshest regions of the world, the
Codan brand is a badge that stands for ruggedness and reliability. Our Codan
Sentry-H radio is the culmination of this experience. It has been tested to a
broad range of stringent environmental standards including MIL-STD-810G,
so it gets the job done no matter where you operate.

Secure
With Codan Sentry’s Digital Voice, your message is always heard loud and clear.

Codan Sentry-H ensures your information and team remains safe and secure
through use of AES-256 bit encryption applied to data transfers, digital voice
and 3G ALE. An option for internal frequency hopping is provided to prevent
third party interference and monitoring and keep your intel safe.

Intelligent

Mobile
When space is limited, Codan Sentry’s
compact and highly integrated unit with
robust handset makes mobile installation easy. We’ve eliminated the need
for an external power amplifier, often
required in competitor systems, and
we’ve engineered the Codan Sentry
to provide 150 W of power so
that you get the best and most
reliable communications.

Codan Sentry’s internal SDR architecture comprises the latest-generation
high-performance Digital Signal Processor (DSP), Field Programmable Gate
Array (FPGA), and system on chip (SoC) technology devices providing
exceptional performance, and future upgradability via its IP / Ethernet / USB
connectivity. Choosing Sentry is investing in your future.

Intuitive
Codan knows that when lives are on the line, operation of the radio must be
second nature. Codan Sentry-H provides an intuitive user-experience interface
that can be switched into various languages for fast and instinctive control.

Integrated
Competing manpack-based tactical solutions require heavy components
interconnected by large, unreliable, and difficult-to-install cabling. Codan Sentry
eliminates this hassle and combines all key functions into a single compact unit.
