DISH Player-DVR 921 is a dual-tuner satellite receiver that combines the power of digital video recorder (DVR) technology with the
ability to receive and record high definition television programming directly from DISH Network and off-air digital broadcasts.
DISH Player-DVR 921 features a 250 GB hard drive and comes with DISH Video-On-Demand Service, which provides the ability to pause,
record, replay and fast-forward standard or high definition television programs.

RECEIVER FEATURES
• Combined high definition (HD) and standard definition
(SD) two-tuner satellite receiver with Digital Video
Recording (DVR) capabilities.
• 480p, 720p and 1080i resolutions supported via
HD outputs.
• Integrated off-air tuner for reception of local digital/HD
and analog broadcasts that can record digital/HD
broadcasts onto the hard drive.
• HD Connectivity: DVI-HDTV/DISH DVI (DVI-I/RGB) and HD
component video outputs – both HD and SD content can
be viewed on an HDTV using the HD video connections
(SD content is up-converted).
• SD connectivity: Composite audio/video and
S-video outputs – both HD and SD content can be viewed
on an SDTV using the SD video connections (HD is downconverted).
• Two satellite tuners for:
• Picture-in-Picture (PIP) to view two programs.
• Recording two live shows at once.
• Recording a live show while watching another
live show.
• Recording two live shows while watching another
recorded program.
• DVR capabilites:
• 250 GB hard disk drive for 100% digital
recording: up to 180 hours of SD programming, up
to 25 hours of HD programming, or a combination
of the two.
• DISH Video-On-Demand Service provides the ability
to pause live TV up to two hours, fast forward
or fast reverse in 4 speeds (4x, 15x, 60x,
300x), skip back 10 seconds, skip forward
30 seconds, forward and reverse slow
motion and frame-by-frame, manual/auto
timers for recording, and recorded events
management to play, delete or protect a
recorded event.
• Extended Electronic Program Guide (EPG) features
7 days of programming stored onto the hard drive
for quick and easy access to program- listing
information.
• Parental control locks, program information, themes
lists, favorites lists, browse, one-touch channel return,
closed-caption support and alternate audio support.

REMOTE CONTROL
• UHF Pro 4-component universal remote control – controls
satellite receiver up to 200 feet through walls and other
obstructions and can be programmed to operate up to three
additional components such as TVs, VCRs, and
DVD players (via infrared).
• DVR buttons: skip forward, skip back, stop, play, pause,
forward, back, record.
• “DVR” button provides one-touch access to the Recorded
Events Menu.
• Picture-in-Picture (PIP) functions to display,
move or swap the PIP image.
• “TV Power” button.
