FERROLUX® FLG 50-P / FLG 200-P Audio frequency generator for cable and pipeline detection, sheath and cable fault location Benefits: Powerful, yet compact generator Signal Select – dependable pipe location even with other cables in close proximity Multi-frequency operation – 3 frequencies transmitted simultaneously Description Technical Data The FERROLUX Measuring System allows operators of power and telecommunication cables as well as public utility companies for gas and water supply, to solve a wide variety of problems. This Audio Frequency Generator can be used for cable and pipe location, cable fault location and cable identification. ® A new feature in the FERROLUX range is the ability to transmit three frequencies simultaneously, allowing to select the best receiver frequencies during locating without the need to return to the FLG generator to change frequencies here, too. ® Frequencies 491 Hz / 982 Hz / 8440 Hz (user-specific frequencies on request) Multi-frequency operation Output power FLG 200 power 0 … 10 W 0 … 200 W 0 … 10 W 0 … 50 W FLG 50 increment 0.5 W 10 W 0.5 W 2.5 W Impedance matching 0.5 … 1000 Ω, automatically Measured parameters loop impedance, current, voltage Power supply mains operated 100 … 240 V AC Interfaces RS-232 There is no overheating of the generator in continuous operation when feeding capacitive loads (insulated gas pipes) or inductive loads (shorted cables). Anti-deep discharge protector for internal battery Dimensions ( W x L x H) 450 x 320 x 133 mm The output power can be adjusted to two levels: low (up to 10 W) and high (up to 50 / 200 W) Weight approx. 12 kg Operating temperature - 20 °C … + 50 °C Enclosure protection IP 20 In conjunction with the Audio Frequency Receiver FLE 10, the system can be used for implementing the new position loca-ting mode SuperMax and the SignalSelect method of identifying the direction of signal flow. The instrument measures and displays the loop impedance of the object under test, output voltage and current and phase angle. All benefits at a glance Backlit LCD for all important parameters Automatic impedance matching Manual and automatic frequency selection Multi-frequency operation - three frequencies transmitted simultaneously Power levels 10 W / 200 W (FLG 200), 10 / 50 W (FLG 50) for fine adjustment at low power Overload protection in all impedance ranges Indication of hazardous output voltage on contact Protection against ext. voltage with indication Wide range power supply with power factor correction (PFC) RS-232 PC interface for easy and straight forward service 19” housing available in two versions – portable or for cable van installation SebaKMT · Dr.-Herbert-Iann-Str. 6 · 96148 Baunach/Germany · Tel. +49(0) 95 44 - 6 80 Fax +49(0) 95 44 - 22 73 · sales@sebakmt.com · www.sebakmt.com Versions FLG 200-P FLG 200-M 19”M FLG 50-P FLG 50-M 19” portable for installation in cable test vans portable for installation in cable test vans Accessories Mains cable Cable kit ISO 9001:2000 NKG 1 VL FLG 200 Technical data subject to change without notice.
