John Deere 244 J Weighlog 100/200 Installation Supplement This supplement will show some of the locations for mounting the equipment included in this scale system. The installations shown are not required locations they are only intended as a guide. Head Unit Mounting The customer mounted the head unit to the dash panel. The back side of the dash has a reinforcement plate to make the mount solid. John Deere 244 J Weighlog 100/200 Installation Supplement Load Sensor Installation This installation was made by using the ORFS Fitting supplied in the kit. The location is at the end of the hoses coming from the lift cylinder. Load Sensor Mounting The Pressure Sensor was mounted to the plate towards the front of the machine with the bracket supplied. Note the loom installed on the hoses to help prevent premature wear. John Deere 244 J Weighlog 100/200 Installation Supplement Reference/Direction Sensor The Ref/Dir sensor mounting bracket for this installation was bolted to the plate by drilling 2 holes. Be sure the mounting will not interfere with the lift arm operation. Reference/Direction Sensor The magnet was mounted using the bracket supplied and bolted to the inside of the lift arm by drilling and using the flange plate on the lift arm. John Deere 244 J Weighlog 100/200 Installation Supplement Junction Box Mounting The Junction box was mounted to the right-hand side of the dash panel as shown. Remote Enter Switch The remote enter switch needs to be mounted to allow easy access by the operator. The cable will be routed to the floor and under the mat to the junction box. John Deere 244 J Weighlog 100/200 Installation Supplement Wiring and Connections Switched power can be found under the panel shown and the cable routed under the floor mat to the junction box location. Wiring and Connections The cables sensor cables will be routed through the center of the machine to the junction box. Use the black loom to cover the cables to help prevent premature failure. Use caution when routing cables through the center piviot of the machine.
