GP Professional Radio Series for Select V

The communication solution for all your needs

GP329 and GP339 - SERVING YOUR
COMMUNICATION NEEDS

GP339 - YOUR VERSATILE COMMUNICATION
COMPANION
The GP339 is vital for growing organisations due to its
wide range of versatile offerings and its ability to
accommodate 255 different communication channels.
No matter where it is used, in the rugged environment
of the construction site or in the posh elegance of a
hotel, the GP339 ensures world-class reliability and
efficiency that is very much associated with Motorola’s
series of professional radios.

Talkaround
Freedom to communicate via a repeater for wide
area coverage; or bypass a repeater and talk directly
to another unit for easy local unit-to-unit
communications. Ideal for maintaining continued
communications in the event of system failure or
maintenance.

The GP339 radio - adaptability at your command.

Call Forward
Incoming calls can be forwarded to another radio
user – enabling continued communication for the
operations.

Additional benefits for GP339 – enhancing
your communication versatility

Contact List
Enables users to access up to 100 pre-programmed
numbers; displayed either in alphabetic or numeric
formats. A total of nine tones can be tagged to
the pre-programmed numbers providing caller identification.
Status Calls
Pre-defined text messages can be tagged to code
digits in the Status list enabling users to send
meaningful messages quickly without the need to
talk. The status list is for both incoming and
outgoing calls.
Call Timer
Enforces the efficient use of airtime by limiting the
duration of calls. Callers are given warning
indications (visual and audio), prior to the call ending.
Dual Tone Multi Frequency (DTMF)
Activated when the radio is required to operate
in a radio system as well as link up with a
telephone network.
Menu
Users can select functions through easy to navigate
menu keys.
Keypad Lock/Unlock
Keypad keys and menu keys can be locked to
eliminate accidental key presses and to deter nonusers from tampering with the radio.
Backlight
Enhanced ease of use in subdued light by
illuminating the radio display, keypad and menu
navigation keys - programmable to be permanently
switched on, off or switched on for a timed period.

Stamp of approval from the U.S. Military
for use in rough environments.

Like the GP329, the GP339 offers superb audio clarity
through the X-PAND™ feature. The GP339 can store
commonly-used contact lists and up to 100 individual
caller-IDs and phone numbers for immediate access.
Time-conscious users can also rely on programmable
buttons for key features and the call timer feature for
efficient management of airtime.

Programmable Channel Spacing
(12.5/20/25 kHz)
The series allows programmable channel spacing of
12.5/20/25 kHz; offering flexibility and easy migration
of channel spacing requirements when the need arises.

Stun/Unstun
Provides an added security to prevent the abuse of
the radio system and can only be activated by the
system manager or administrator. In the event a
radio is stolen or used illegally, the system
administrator can send a signal to stun the radio,
making it incapable for use. Conversely, the radio
can be returned to operational use by sending an
unstun signal or by returning the radio for
reprogramming.

Adjustable Power Levels
Optimises coverage and conserves battery
consumption.

Clear Crisp Audio Quality
Sound quality is critical for effective communications.
The GP Professional Radio series for Select V is
specially equipped with Motorola’s voice compression
and expansion technology called X-PAND™. The XPAND™ feature enables crisper, clearer and stronger
audio quality, allowing users to continue
communicating even in noisy conditions. In addition,
low-level expansion enables further improvements
in audio quality by reducing unwanted background
noise usually heard during pauses in conversation.

The GP329 radio - it’s easy communication at your
finger tips.

ISO

KEY FEATURES

Whisper
The radio microphone’s sensitivity is increased,
allowing users to speak quietly into a radio while
still being heard clearly over the air.

Voice-Operated Transmit (VOX)
Hands-free operation with voice activated
transmission via headsets.

s

The GP Professional Radio series for Select V
is compatible with Private-Line and 5-tone
Selective signalling protocols.

Battery Strength Indicator
For early warning on low battery strength, the GP329
is equipped with a tri-colour LED battery gauge; the
GP339 has an on-screen LCD display indicator.

et

You can now enjoy instantaneous contact with
your work teams, ensuring always that
productivity and efficiency levels of your
operations are kept high.

Lone Worker
Customised to meet your specific needs, this feature
provides added security and safety for individuals
who work remotely from their team as well as for
those who work in hazardous conditions. The radio
provides continued normal operations when the
buttons are pressed regularly but will sound a warning
signal if there’s no response after a pre-determined
time lapse. Should there be no further response, the
radio automatically makes an emergency call.

With X-PAND™, the GP329 assures you of crisp, clear
audio quality even in the noisiest conditions. It also
offers 16 channels in addition to a basic array of
signalling capabilities. With adjustable power levels,
you always have control over your radio usage.
Moreover, with an LED indicator and an alert to notify
you when your battery power is running low, you’ll
never be caught with dead air, especially during missioncritical situations or emergencies.
