• Toselectbasicautomode,pressthemodebuon,usethe–keytoscrolldowntobasicautomode,

number2inthemenu,andpresssettoselect.

• Tosettheinsuaonandexsuaonpressures,presstheinsuaonorexsuaonbuon,thenuse

the+and–keystoselecttherequiredpressure,conrmbypressingset.

• Tosettheinsuaon(Ti)andexsuaonmes(Te),selecttheappropriatebuon,TiorTeanduse

the+or–keystosettheme,conrmthecorrectmebypressingset.

• Tosetthepause,pressthepausebuon,thenusingthe+or–keysselecttheappropriatepauseme,

conrmthisbypressingset.

• Tostartthetherapypressthestartbuon,thiswillgivemaximum20cycles,tostopthetherapybefore

thispressthestartbuonagain.

Set Up – Basic Auto

About The Device

• TheNIPPYClearwayisamechanicalinsuaon-exsuaondevice(MI-E).

• TheNIPPYClearwayislicensedasatherapydeviceandcanbeusedforadultsandpaediatricpaents

asdirectedbyacompetentphysician.

• The NIPPY Clearway can be used with a face mask, via a mouthpiece or connected directly to the

tracheostomytube.

Un-locking/Locking the device

• Tounlockthedevice,pushandholdsimultaneouslythe+and–buonfor3to4secondsunlthe

padlockontheboomrightofthescreenunlocks.

• Tolockthedevice,again,holdthe+and–buonsimultaneouslyfor3to4secondsunlthepadlock

onthescreenshowsaslocked.

Clear Sengs

• Toclearthesengs,pressthemenubuonandthenselectopon4–clearpaentsengs.Then

followtheinstruconsonthedevice.

Set Up - Manual Mode

• Oncethesengsareclearedyouwillbeinmanualmodeasdefault.

• Tosettheinsuaonpressure,presstheinsuaonbuon,thenusethe+and–keystoselectthe

requiredpressure,conrmbypressingset.

• Tosetthe exsuaonpressure,pressthe exsuaonbuon,then use + and – keystoselect the

requiredpressure,conrmbypressingset.

• Usingeitherthemanualcontrolorfrontbuon,youcandeliverthetherapymanually.Youcontrolthe

insuaonandexsuaonmesaswellasthepausememanually.
