The kit consists of a Transmitter, Receiver and Wall Bracket. The Transmitter and receiver both use a directional patch antenna to reduce external interference. The receiver has a built in 7 bar signal strength meter to obtain the best possible reception during an installation; a very important stage to help guarantee a reliable wireless video link. Both units are housed in a small IP65 enclosure, so mounting outdoors is possible without the need for additional external waterproof enclosures. The receiver also comes with a mounting bracket providing X & Y movement for alignment purposes. In addition this video link also transmits a digital input and tamper circuit. The digital input can be used for a PIR sensor or door contact etc. at the transmitter end and drives a volt free relay at the receiver. The output can be programmed as a momentary output, or a timed output from 1 second to 30 minutes. The tamper channel monitors an external input at the transmitter, both transmitter and receiver cases for lid removal and loss of the wireless link. The output is via a normally closed volt free contact. Configuration of the RF200V is via a simple one button programming method. On the transmitter only the RF channel needs to be programmed. The receiver has two steps: the first is to pair the receiver to the transmitter and the second (if required) is to set the output timer. The whole process takes less than five minutes to configure.
