• In order to meet all your heating needs, Vanguard
Vent-Free Gas Heaters are available in manually
operated and thermostatically controlled models.
Manual Control – Blue Flame & Infrared Models
• Vanguard’s Manually Controlled Vent-Free Heaters
allow you to choose the heat setting you prefer by
simply turning the control knob. The heater will
operate at the selected level until the control knob
is turned to off or another setting.
Thermostatically Controlled Heaters
• Blue ame models operate by gradually modulating
the heat output and ame height from the selected
setting to lower settings, or pilot, in order to maintain
a consistent room temperature. Operating from pilot,
thermostatically controlled infrared models turn all
the plaques on or off to maintain the heat output
desired.

Check local codes and ordinances for permitted uses.
Vent-free gas products are prohibited for bedroom and
bathroom installation in Massachusetts.
All products approved for manufactured (mobile) home
installation.
We reserve the right to amend product specications
without notice.
Operating heater at very high elevations could cause
nuisance outages.
Use with adequate air (ventilation) only. Humidies while
it heats. Provides water vapor in the area heated. Refer to
owner’s manual for specics.
Product cannot be converted between fuel types.
The only warranty we offer is our standard warranty.

All parts have a limited four year warranty.*
All accessories have a one year warranty.*
To prevent performance problems, Propane models
should be operated with a 100 lb. tank or larger.
