ePAC Receiver and Antenna* The ePAC Receiver is used to wirelessly open doors/barriers or to trigger an external relay in combination with a PAC access control solution. The ePAC Receiver communicates an opening signal via encrypted 868 MHz from the ePAC Active Transponder (P/N 40440) using the 868 SMA type-1, long antenna*. The ePAC Receiver and the ePAC Active Transponder are using AES128 encryption on the 868 MHz frequency and through a challenge response procedure, a session is created. The key checks if the ePAC Active Transponder and Receiver are PAC devices, which ensures very high communication security between them. This reduces the possibility of cloning as this is a risk with other radio based solutions. ePACRec.ant/8.17 ■■ Dimensions: Receiver: 65 x 50 x 37 mm Antenna: 220 mm x 14.5mm ■■ Voltage: 8-20V DC or 8-16V AC ■■ Storage Temperature: -40° C to +65° C ■■ Mounting Location: Indoor ■■ Storage Temperature: -40° C to +65° C *Antenna sold separately Contact our dedicated customer services team on: +44 (0) 161 406 3400 To find out how you can start benefiting from a tailored PAC security system that accommodates your business’ requirements.
