If, however, you wish to alter these programs to better suit your needs, MIDIVERB III has a very simple and logical routine for performing edits. Please follow these easy instructions... SELECTING PROGRAMS SAVING PROGRAMS EDIT COMPARE 1) Press the PROGRAM button. The Program button LED will light. 2) Press the Up or Down VALUE button until the desired program is displayed in the 3 digit numeric display. OR: 3) Select a 3 digit program number from the numbered Function Buttons. Each digit must be selected within 4 seconds or the initial program will be restored. 1) Press the STORE button. The STORE button LED will flash. The 3 Digit Numeric Display will indicate the program number you are storing to (see NOTE). 2) Press the STORE button again to save the edited program. 3) After saving, MIDIVERB III will return to EDIT mode (EDIT button LED will light). The 3 Digit Numeric Display will show the newly stored parameter. You may now continue editing or return to PROGRAM mode by pressing the PROGRAM button. For convenience, MIDIVERB III has a powerful feature that allows you to compare your edits to the currently stored program before committing them to memory. EDITING PROGRAMS 1) Press the EDIT button. Press one of the Function Buttons: its LED will light. The currently stored parameter value will be displayed in the 3 Digit Numeric Display. 2) The Reverb, Delay, Chorus, EQ and Mix buttons each have two parameter choices. Press the EDIT button to toggle between the two choices. The Upper or Lower Function LEDs will light to indicate your choice. 3) Press the Up or Down VALUE button to adjust the parameter. NOTE: Program numbers 000-099 are non-erasable factory programs. All edits performed on these programs can only be stored in program locations 100-199. Edits to program numbers 000-999 will automatically appear as the chosen program location plus 100. For example, editing program 29 will appear as storable location 129. However, you may choose numbered storable locations from 100-199 as follows: 1) Exit the Edit mode by pressing the PROGRAM button. The PROGRAM LED will light. The Numeric Display will show the program number you are editing and the Edit Indicator Dot will light. 2) To hear the unedited program, press the PROGRAM button a second time. The Edit Indicator Dot will flash, indicating that you are hearing the unedited program. You may switch back and forth between the edited and unedited versions of the program until you reach a decision; or you can re-enter EDIT mode to further modify your program. When you are satisfied with your edits, follow the directions for SAVING PROGRAMS. 1) Press the Up or Down value button to select the desired program location. 2) Press the STORE button to save the program.
