TX71 USER GUIDE INTRODUCTION The TX71 provides the only method to disarm your security device (SRI-G or SRI-MG). The remote control uses pseudo-random encryption to alter the transmission code each time the a disarm signal is sent. This patented technology ensures would-be thieves cannot record your code and play it back to the security device installed in your car. bottom half of the remote case. Both batteries will face with positive side down. Always remove both old batteries and discard in an appropriate manner. Insert the new batteries and reassemble the case in the reverse order to disassembling. NB: When snapping the case halves together, ensure the silicon membrane alignment is correct. Failure to do so may pinch the membrane and allow water to enter the remote control. CASE TOP PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION 00 S2 BATTERIES (H 71 TX The TX71 is a black ABS plastic formed in two halves. The maximum case dimensions are 54mm x 32mm x 12mm The two halves are friction snapped together. Between the two halves is a silicon membrane which provides water ingress protection. The membrane is also designed to support and protect the printed circuit board. The case also include a large key ring loop to conveniently attach the remote to the driver’s keys. CODE STRUCTURE PSEUDO RANDOM ENCRYPTION RF FREQUENCY 433MHz AUXILIARY BUTTON CAUTION: BATTERY REPLACEMENT To assure continued FCC compliance: When the battery is low the effective range of the remote control will decrease. This can be temporarily overcome by moving closer to the vehicle. However, replacement CR2016 batteries should be purchased and exchanged with the current batteries. To replace the batteries, use a small flat blade screwdriver to lever between the two halves of the remote case. Disassemble the entire remote control paying particular attention to the order in which the pieces come apart. The batteries will remain locked in place within the Any changes or modifications not expressly approved by the grantee of this device could void the user's authority to operate the equipment. FCC Label Compliance Statement: This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to he following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
