SUBSTITUTION OF OTHER ANTENNA MAY INVALIDATE FCC CERTIFICATION. THE E-ZONE RF MODULE IS INTENDED TO PROVIDE WIRELESS DATA TRANSMISSION BETWEEN TWO LINKED UNITS. THE RF UNIT ACCEPTS DATA OVER AVAILABLE CPU I/O LINES, STORES THE DATA AND PERIODICALLY TRANSMITS IT TO THE OTHER UNIT. DATA MAY MOVE IN ONE OR BOTH DIRECTIONS. UNITS WILL LINK ONLY WITH OTHER UNITS CONTAINING THE SAME INTERNAL ID CODES. UNITS MAY ALSO FUNCTION AS INTERMEDIATE RELAY BY LINKING BETWEEN TWO MODULES WHICH CANNOT COMMUNICATE DIRECTLY WITH EACH OTHER. THESE LINKING FUNCTIONS AS WELL AS THE RADIO CONTROL AND FEATURE FUNCTIONS ARE PREPROGRAMMED INTO THE MODULE WHICH UTILIZE TWO READILY AVAILABLE TEXAS INSTRUMENTS PROVEN COMPONENTS. THE CC2591 RF FRONT END INCLUDES PA,LNA,SWITCHES,BALUN, RF MATCHING NETWORK AND INDUCTOR, AND IS IMPLEMENTED TO INCREASE OUTPUT POWER AND IMPROVE RECEIVER SENSITIVITY ON A 2.4GHz LOWPOWER RF SIGNAL PRODUCED BY THE CC2531, WHICH IS AN IEEE 802.15.4 COMPLIANT RF SYSTEM-ON-CHIP PROGRAMMED TO PROVIDE BOTH FREQUENCY HOPPING AND SPREAD SPECTRUM. THIS DEVICE COMPLIES WITH THE OPERATIONAL AND TIMING REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 15.231(e) OF THE FCC RULES. THE TIMING REQUIREMENTS ARE PRESET AND FIXED AND NON-ADJUSTABLE BY THE END USER. WARNING: END USERS ARE RESPONSIBLE TO ASSURE COMPLIANCE WITH FCC RULES WHEN TRANSMITTING. END USERS MUST INCORPORATE ALL USER WARNINGS AND FCC REQUIREMENTS FOR THEIR EQUIPMENT IN OPERATIONAL MANUALS.
