1 Generaldescription
PixMobBLERepeaterisaproductusedtoincreasetherangeofBLEdevicesbyrepeatingandamplifying
thereceivedpackets.Uponreceptionofpacketscontainingtheproperheadercomingfromphonesor
tabletswithBluetoothLowEnergycapabilitiesthatcanruntheSparkapplicationdesignedbyPixMob.The
repeaterreformatthepacketswithitsownheaderandretransmitthemtoPixMobpixelsthatcontainBLE
modulesdesignedbyPixMob(FCCID:2ADS4BLE)

Thisdevicecomplieswithpart15.247oftheFCCRules.Operationissubjecttothefollowingtwo
conditions:(1)Thisdevicemaynotcauseharmfulinterference,and(2)thisdevicemustacceptany
interferencereceived,includinginterferencethatmaycauseundesiredoperation.
Caution:Changesormodificationsnotexpresslyapprovedbythepartyresponsibleforcompliancecould
voidtheuser'sauthoritytooperatethisequipment.
Note:ThisequipmenthasbeentestedandfoundtocomplywiththelimitsforaClassBdigitaldevice,
pursuanttopart15oftheFCCRules.Theselimitsaredesignedtoprovidereasonableprotectionagainst
harmfulinterferenceinaresidentialinstallation.Thisequipmentgenerates,usesandcanradiateradio
frequencyenergyand,ifnotinstalledandusedinaccordancewiththeinstructions,maycauseharmful
interferencetoradiocommunications.However,thereisnoguaranteethatinterferencewillnotoccurina
particularinstallation.Ifthisequipmentdoescauseharmfulinterferencetoradioortelevisionreception,
whichcanbedeterminedbyturningtheequipmentoffandon,theuserisencouragedtotrytocorrectthe
interferencebyoneormoreofthefollowingmeasures:
—Reorientorrelocatethereceivingantenna.
—Increasetheseparationbetweentheequipmentandreceiver.
—Consultthedealeroranexperiencedradio/TVtechnicianforhelp.
FCCRadiationExposureStatement:
ThisequipmentcomplieswithFCCradiationexposurelimitssetforthforanuncontrolledenvironment.
TocomplywithFCCRFexposurecompliancerequirements,aseparationdistanceofatleast20cmmust
bemaintainedbetweentheantennaofthisdeviceandallnearbypersons.Thisdevicemustnotbe
colocatedoroperatinginconjunctionwithanyotherantennaortransmitter.

4 Installation
TheBLERepeaterisastandalonemodule.Itispoweredby2AAAbatterieslocatedunderthemodule.The
RepeateronlyrepeatssignalscomingfromaBluetoothdeviceusingtheSparksapplication.TheRepeater
maximumrangeis15meters.

Itcanbelocatedanywherewithin10metersofthesourcedeviceor15metersofanotherrepeater;ideally
atleast2metersaboveground.MultipleRepeaterscanbeusedinastarconfigurationtocoverawider
area(refertopicturebelow).
ToturnontheRepeater,pressandholdthebuttonuntiltheredLEDblinksfast3times.Toturnitoff,
pressandholdthebuttonatleast1seconduntiltheredLEDisoff.Whenactive,iftheredLEDisblinking
fast,itmeansitisrepeating.Whenitisblinkingslowly,itisinlisteningmode.
TheRepeatershutsdownbyitselfafter2hoursofinactivity.
