General description
PixMob BLE Repeater is a product used to increase the range of BLE devices by repeating and amplifying
the received packets. Upon reception of packets containing the proper header coming from phones or
tablets with Bluetooth Low Energy capabilities that can run the Spark application designed by PixMob. The
repeater reformat the packets with its own header and retransmit them to PixMob pixels that contain BLE
modules designed by PixMob (FCC ID: 2ADS4BLE)

This device complies with part 15.247 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two
conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any
interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.

Installation
The BLE Repeater is a standalone module. It is powered by 2 AAA batteries located under the module. The
Repeater only repeats signals coming from a Bluetooth device using the Sparks application.The Repeater
maximum range is 15 meters.

It can be located anywhere within 10 meters of the source device or 15 meters of another repeater; ideally
at least 2 meters above ground. Multiple Repeaters can be used in a star configuration to cover a wider
area (refer to picture below).
To turn on the Repeater, press and hold the button until the red LED blinks fast 3 times. To turn it off,
press and hold the button at least 1 second until the red LED is off. When active, if the red LED is blinking
fast, it means it is repeating. When it is blinking slowly, it is in listening mode.
The Repeater shuts down by itself after 2 hours of inactivity.
