If you use other cables, it may cause interference with radio and television reception. Connect to Skype For the first time user of SkyWin, Please Select “allow this program to use Skype”, and click OK button when the screen appears “Another program wants to use Skype?” diagram. Then W-260 can work through SkyWin to operate Skype.   Pic.1-1  SkyWin Request to control Skype  According to Skype status, the LCD display of CE260-VOIP-1 will appear three types of message: 「No Skype」 (Pic.1-2) 、「Logout」 (Pic.1-3) 、 and 「Standby」  (Pic.1-6), after CE260-VOIP-1 connected to Toshiba Bluetooth Dongle.

Pic.1-3 Status:Logout  When [Logout] message appears then, • Please check if Skype is sign in. • If Skype has signed in, please check if Skype allows SkyWin to access to Skype:  「Tool」=>「Option」=>「Privacy」=>「Manage other programs’ access to Skype」(Pic.1-4). If the screen of W-260 is showing  「No Skype」or「Logged out」 message, then W-260 can not activate any function of Skype.      1.2. Basic Functions of CE260-VOIP-1 Note: Before turn on the phone please turn on the power switch first at left side of the phone.  • On/Off:To turn on/off the phone please hold  「ON/OFF (On Hook)  」for 2-3 seconds. • Registration:Please register to Toshiba Dongle by hold「#」key for 2 to 3 seconds.   • The phone will automatically turn to power save mode (back blue light disappear) after 5 seconds without press any key. • The phone will turns to standby mode without press any key after 30 seconds. • When adjusting sound volume while making a phone call, the LCD display will turn to conversation mode (display total conversation time) after 6 seconds.  1.3. Registration Note: Before use CE260-VOIP-1, the phone has to be registered to Toshiba Dongle in order to activate the Bluetooth.     2.1. Toshiba Dongle Registration Please read the steps of registration carefully and follow the steps to finish the registration. Also, please use Toshiba Bluetooth software to register CE260-VOIP-1. Step1: Be sure Toshiba Bluetooth software connected to the dongle. The software will show three kinds of icons (see Pic.2-1). First, the red icon means Bluetooth is not ready. Second, the white icon means Bluetooth is ready to use. Third, the green icon means Bluetooth is connecting to CE260-VOIP-1.

Pic.2-2: Start Toshiba Bluetooth Software  Step3: Turn on CE260-VOIP-1 (hold  「ON/OFF (On Hook)  」for 2-3 seconds), and press # button for 2 to 3 seconds to get in registration screen. The screen will appear [GP Register] diagram.

Then CE260-VOIP-1 will automatically connect to this the dongle.   Pic.2-5: Toshiba Registration (C)  Step 7: When CE260-VOIP-1 and dongle match up, the {Bluetooth Settings} diagram will have an ear phone icon show up, and the background color of icon on the diagram will change color from white to green (see Pic.2-6). Moreover, if CE260-VOIP-1 and dongle have set up the Sound and Audio connection, the icon {Bluetooth Settings} will change. See Pic.2-6。

Menu CE260-VOIP-1 works with SkyWin support functions below. Press「OK」to get into Menu: 1. Contact:View Contact list on CE260-VOIP-1。 2. Make a call:Phone book of Skype can be found in CE260-VOIP-1. Contact On standby mode press {OK} to get into Menu; press {OK} when you see {Contact}. Or press {LEFT} key while silent mode for shortcut. When you are in the Contact list, operate the list with {UP} {DOWN} {RIGHT} {LEFT} to chose a number, it appears same list as you see on the Skype (see Pic.3-2)     Pic.3-2: Contact List Icon Status             3.2. Making a Call • Go into Contact list, Call History, or Missed Call list and find a person you want to contact then press {off hook} key.   • Dial numbers with area code on CE260-VOIP-1 then press {off hood} key to get on a call; use {on hook} to correct a wrong number。 • If you had been set up the memory key (hot key) on the Skype, then press a number and press {off hook} key to make a quick call. • Conference Call:operate on Skype to make multiple way calls. Press {Ctrl} + mouse left key and point at contact, then use mouse to point at Skype green phone icon; then W-260 will shows up {Conference Call}    • Answer: when a call is coming, press {OK} or {Off Hook} to answer. If another call is coming during a conversation, also use {ok} to answer, and press {On Hook} to hand off.   • Refuse a call:if not answering a call, press {On Hook} to hand off.

FAQ            4.1. Can not turn on the phone Make sure the power switch is on. Make sure the battery is not running off.         4.2. SkyWin does not work Effect SkyWin working properly has two reasons. If any system named SkyWin operating or file folder, either one would cause SkyWin working error. Recommend that user do not save SkyWin system in folder named {SkyWin} or shortcut.   Another reason is that there’s SkyWin still working in Windows Task Manager. Click right on toolbar and chose {Windows Task Manager}, making sure there is no SkyWin.exe in progress.
