For best performance, maintain a dis- tancefrom, or do not operate this toy near other radio devicessuch as nursery monitors, cordless telephones or otherradio control vehicles on the same frequency.Any modification of the transmitter or the receiver(truck) will violate FCC compliance and can void theuser's authority to operate the equipment.Hint: The 9-volt (6LR61) battery in the transmitterhas a longer life than the 'AA" (L R6) batteries inthe truck. Close the batterycompartment door and tighten the screw with aPhillips screwdriver. Do not over-tighten.Battery Compartment I~~Transmitter Battery• Unfasten the screw inthe battery compart-ment door with a Phil-lips screwdriver. Thescrew will remain inthe door.• Open the battery com-partment door.• Snap a 9-volt batteryto the battery contactsand insert it into thebattery compartment.• Close the battery compartment door and tighten thescrew with a Phillips screwdriver.
