For proper setup and use, please read these instructions.
Please keep this instruction sheet for future reference,
as it contains important information.
Includes two AC adaptors to power transmitter and receiver (plugs into
standard household outlets 7120V AC). Receiver also runs on battery
power (9V alkaline battery 7 not included).
Adult assembly is required to install the battery (if used).
Tool needed for battery installation:
Phillips screwdriver (not included).

- This product is not Intended to be used as a medical monitor
and its use should not replace adult supervision
- Test sound reception of receiver before first-time use and
whenever you change location of transmitter.
. To prevent entanglement:
, Never place transmitter in a crib or playpen. Keep transmitter
and receiver out of baby’s reach.
- Never use extension cords with the AC adaptors.
- Never use transmitter or receiver near water (ie; bathtub, sink,
laundry tub or wet basement, etc).
- Always use transmitter and receiver where there is adequate
ventilation.To prevent overheating, keep transmitter and receiver
away from heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, direct sun-
light, stoves, amplifiers, or other appliances which produce heat.

Excess dirt in transmitter microphone will hamper transmission of sound.
Clean outer surface oftransmitter and receiver with a cloth lightly damp-
ened with a mild cleaning solution.
Never immerse transmitter, receiver or AC adaptors.

~ Locate battery compartment door on bottom of receiver.
- Loosen screw on battery compartment door with a Phillips
screwdriver. Remove battery compartment door.
‘ Snap terminals ofa fresh, 9V alkaline battery into
receiver connectors,
- Replace battery compartment doorTighten screw with a
Phillips screwdriver.
Battery Safety Information
Batteries may leak fluids that can cause a chemical burn injury or
ruin your product.To avoid battery leakage
~ Insert battery as indicated inside the battery compartment.
~ Remove battey during long periods of non-use.Always remove an
exhausted battery from the product. Dispose of battery safely. Do
not dispose of battery in a fire.The battery may explode or leak.
- Never short—circuit the battery terminals.
- Use only a battery of the same or equivalent type, as recommended.
- Do not charge a non-rechargeable battery.

7 Rotate receiver power/volume dial to turn power on, Power
r indicator lights, Rotate power/volume dial to adjust volume.
Notes: AC adaptor is 120 VAC, 60Hz,4W input; 6 VDC iOOmA output;
center positive polarity; plug OD is 55 mm, plug D is 15 mm.

Testing Sound Reception
Test transmitter transmission and receiver reception
each time you change location of use.

- Variable light display lights when
sound is received by receiver:
» One or two dots light for
shallow sounds.
- Three or more dots light for
louder sounds
- if you experience interference
(buzzing or static, etc) while using
one channel setting, switch both
units to other channel. Selecting
a channel is usually a one time
adjustment
Hint: All five dots in receiver variable light display ligh t:
- If you turn receiver power on before transmitter power. You will also hear static
nose. I urn volume down on receiver and turn transmitter power on
- If the receiver is too far away from the transmitter. Move the receiver closer to
the transmitter.
- If loud sounds are transmitting.
