I. Functions and Usage
The S600 development Kit is used to debug the Franklin Wireless M600 series module. It is designed by
an auxiliary board with Franklin Wireless M600 series module embedded. When the S600 is used, you can
connect the module to a PC through a USB cable. When the module works normally, the debugging
functions can be implemented. The S600 provides multiple interfaces, such as the Mini-USB port, DC
power jack, RF connectors.
The S600 can be used to test the performance of the module. Both the wired connection test (connect the
module to the each equipment) and the wireless connection test (connect the module to the antennas) can
be implemented. The signal points can also be tested when you maintain and repair the module.

IV. Installation of the S600
Connect the devices and set up the test environment according to Figure-2 or Figure-3. Then
connect the S600 to the PC through a Micro-USB to Type A USB cable..
When performing the wired connection test, connect the E5515C to the RF interface of the S600..
(For the connection method, see Figure-2 and Figure-3)
When performing the wireless connection test, connect the antennas to the RF interface of the
S600 directly. (For the connection method, see Figure-4.)
