HYDROGEN GAS IS EXPLOSIVE.Ifthe hot water has not been used for two weeks or more, prevent the possibility of damage or injuryby turning on all hot water faucets and allow them to run for several minutes. Do this before using angelectrical appliance which is connected to the hot water system.This simple procedure will allow any built-up hgdrogen gas to escape. Sincethe gas isflammable, do not smoke or use an open flame or applianceduring this process.%PROPERINSTALLATIONAND MAINTENANCEThis dishwasher must be properly installed and located in accordance with the InstallationInstructions before it is used. If you did not receive on Installation Instructions sheet withgout dishwasher, you can receive one bg visiting our website at ge.com.•Connect to a grounded metal, permanent wiringsystem; or run an equipment-groundingconductor with the circuit conductors andconnect to the equipment-grounding terminalor lead of the appliance.• Improper connection of the equipment-groundingconductor can result in a risk of electric shock.Check with a qualified electrician or servicerepresentative if you are in doubt whether theappliance is properly grounded.• Disposeof discarded appliances and shippingor packing material properly.• Do not attempt to repair or replace any partof your dishwasher unlessit is specificallyrecommended in this manual.
