Charge your headset
Make sure that your Jabra BT130 headset is fully charged before you start using it. Use
the AC adapter to charge from a power socket, or charge directly from your PC with
the USB cable provided. Connect your headset as shown in fig. 3. When the LED is solid
blue, your headset is charging. When the solid blue LED turns off, it is fully charged.

The Jabra BT130 is easy to operate. The answer/end button on the headset performs
different functions depending on how long you press it.

This instruction manual will get you started and ready to make the most of your headset.
Thank you
Using a mobile phone while driving can distract you and increase the likelihood of an
accident. If driving conditions demand it (such as bad weather, high traffic density,
presence of children in the car, difficult road conditions), pull off the road and park before
making or answering calls. Also, try to keep conversations short and do not make notes or
read documents.
Always drive safely and follow local laws.
Remember, driving comes first, not the call!

The Jabra BT130 is ready to wear on your right ear. If you prefer the left, gently flip and
rotate the earhook 180°. (See fig. 2)
For optimal performance, wear the Jabra BT130 and your mobile phone on the same
side of your body or within line of sight. In general, you will get better performance
when there are no obstructions between your headset and your mobile phone.
Fun with color – changing your cover plate

Remove current plate by pulling from thumbnail slot at top

Push new cover plate into place (See fig. 5)
Answer a call
•
Tap the answer/end button on your headset to answer a call
End a call

Tap the answer/end button to end an active call
Reject a call (Dependent on your phone supporting this feature)

Press the answer/end button when the phone rings to reject an incoming call.
Depending on your phone settings, the person who called you will either be
forwarded to your voice mail or hear a busy signal
Make a call

When you make a call from your mobile phone, the call will (subject to phone
settings) automatically transfer to your headset
Activate voice dialing (Dependent on your phone supporting this feature)
•
Tap the answer/end button. For best results, record the voice-dialing tag through
your headset. Please consult your phone’s user manual for more information about
using this feature
Redial last number (Dependent on your phone supporting this feature)

Press the answer/end button
Adjust sound and volume

Press the volume up or down (+ or –) to adjust the volume (See fig. 1)

Before you use your Jabra BT130, you need to pair it with your mobile phone.
1. Put the headset in pairing2 mode
Make sure that the headset is on.
Press the answer/end button and press the volume up (+) button at the same time,
until a solid blue light comes on.
2. Set your Bluetooth phone to ‘discover’ the Jabra BT130
Follow your phone’s instruction guide. This usually involves going to a ‘setup,’
‘connect’ or ‘Bluetooth’ menu on your phone and selecting the option to ‘discover’
or ‘add’ a Bluetooth device.* (See example from a typical mobile phone in fig. 4)
3. Your phone will find the Jabra BT130
Your phone then asks if you want to pair with it. Accept by pressing ‘Yes’ or ‘OK’ on
the phone and confirm with the passkey or PIN3 = 0000 (4 zeros).
Your phone will confirm when pairing is complete. In case of unsuccessful pairing,
repeat steps 1 to 3.

I hear crackling noises
For the best audio quality, always wear your headset on the same side of the body
as your mobile phone.
I cannot hear anything in my headset
•
Increase the volume on the headset
•
Ensure that the headset is paired with the phone
•
Make sure that the phone is connected to the headset – if it does not connect
either from the phone’s Bluetooth menu or by tapping the answer/end button,
follow the pairing procedure (See section 3)
I have pairing problems even though my phone indicates otherwise
You may have deleted your headset pairing connection in your mobile phone.
Follow the pairing instructions in section 3.

Using a Jabra Bluetooth adapter

If you want to use the Jabra BT130 with a non Bluetooth mobile phone, the Jabra A210
adapter is the answer.
It gives you a cordless connection with the following headset features: answer/end call
and voice dial function (if supported by the phone). Rejecting a call and last number
redial might not be supported through the headset jack in the mobile phone.
To pair the Jabra BT130 with the Jabra A210
The pairing process is a little different:
•
Put your Jabra BT130 in pairing mode
•
Put the Jabra A210 adapter in pairing mode
•
Place them close together. You do not need a dedicated pin code to pair the two
Jabra products. Consult the Jabra A210 user manual for more information
Making/answering a call when using the Jabra A210
•
When you make a call from your mobile phone, the call will automatically transfer
to the headset (if it is turned on)
•
To answer a call: either tap the answer/end button on your headset or press the
answer button on your mobile phone

1. Always store the Jabra BT130 with power off and safely protected.
2. Avoid storage at high temperatures (above 60°C / 134°F) – such as in a hot vehicle
or in direct sunlight. (Storage at high temperatures can degrade performance and
reduce battery life).
3. Do not expose the headset or any of its supplied parts to rain or other liquids.
I cannot use Reject call, Call on hold, Redial or Voice dialing
These functions are dependent on your phone supporting them. Please check your
phone’s manual for further details.
Will the Jabra BT130 work with other Bluetooth equipment?
The Jabra BT130 is designed to work with Bluetooth mobile phones. It can also work
with other Bluetooth devices that are compliant with Bluetooth version 1.1 or 1.2
and support a headset and/or hands-free profile.
Warranty

Jabra limited product warranty. Jabra warrants to Purchaser that for a period of one (1)
year after the date of purchase (the “Warranty Period”) of any Jabra Product (“Product”) by
Purchaser, the Product will substantially conform to Jabra’s published specifications for the
Product on the date of Purchaser’s purchase of the Product, subject to the terms herein.
Purchaser shall notify Jabra of any nonconformance during the Warranty Period and obtain
a written return material authorization (“RMA”) and an RMA number for the nonconforming
Product from Jabra and return the nonconforming Product to Jabra, freight prepaid, with
a statement describing the nonconformity. Jabra’s exclusive obligation with respect to
nonconforming Product shall be, at Jabra’s option and expense, to repair or replace such
Product so that it substantially conforms with its published specifications on the date of
Purchaser’s purchase, or, if Jabra, in Jabra’s sole discretion, determines that it is not possible to
repair or replace the Product, Jabra may, at Jabra’s option, refund to Purchaser the purchase

products purchased from authorized retail sellers. This warranty does not apply to: “open
box purchases”, resales by private parties or any other third party purchases by unauthorized
distributors. Transfer of Jabra products through any unauthorized distributor renders our
manufacturer’s warranty null and void. BUYER BEWARE: any Jabra product sold by a private
party or unauthorized distributor and not by an authorized Jabra retail seller is sold on an “as
is” or “with all faults” basis with respect to Jabra. As such, the entire risk as to the quality and
performance of such products will be with the buyer if the unauthorized distributor will not
cover the costs of repairing defects. Should such products prove defective following their
purchase, the buyer or unauthorized distributor, and not the manufacturer or its authorized
retail sellers, assumes the entire cost of all necessary servicing or repair. Therefore, buyers

1 Bluetooth: is a radio technology that connects devices, such as mobile phones and
headsets, without wires or cords over a short distance (approx. 30 feet). Get more
information at www.bluetooth.com
Bluetooth profiles are the different ways that Bluetooth devices communicate with
other devices. Bluetooth phones support either the headset profile, the hands-free
profile or both. In order to support a certain profile, a phone manufacturer must
implement certain mandatory features within the phone’s software.
2 Pairing: creates a unique and encrypted link between two Bluetooth devices and
lets them communicate with each other. Bluetooth devices will not work if the
devices have not been paired.
3 Passkey or PIN: is a code that you enter on your mobile phone to pair it with your
Jabra BT130. This makes your phone and the Jabra BT130 recognize each other and
automatically work together.
4 Standby mode: is when the Jabra BT130 is passively waiting for a call. When you
‘end’ a call on your mobile phone, the headset goes into standby mode.

Chargement de votre oreillette
Assurez-vous que votre oreillette Jabra BT130 est complètement chargée avant de
commencer à l’utiliser. Utilisez l’adaptateur de secteur pour la charger à partir d’une
prise de courant ou chargez-la directement à partir de votre ordinateur à l’aide du câble
USB fourni. Connectez votre oreillette comme indiqué dans le schéma 3. Lorsque le

Toute utilisation d’un téléphone portable pendant la conduite suscite, pour le conducteur,
une distraction qui peut augmenter le risque d’accident. Si les conditions de conduite
l’exigent (par exemple par mauvais temps, en cas de circulation dense, de présence
d’enfants dans la voiture ou de routes en mauvais état), quittez la route et garez-vous
avant d’effectuer ou de répondre à un appel. Veillez aussi à écourter les communications et
à ne pas prendre de notes ni lire de documents.

gauche, faites tourner doucement l’écouteur à 180°. (Voir le schéma 2)

sonne pour rejeter un appel entrant. En fonction du réglage de votre téléphone, la
personne qui vous a appelé sera redirigée vers votre boîte vocale ou entendra le
signal occupé
Effectuer un appel

Lorsque vous effectuez un appel depuis votre téléphone portable, l’appel est
automatiquement transféré dans votre oreillette (selon le réglage de votre
téléphone).
Activer la numérotation vocale (selon le modèle de téléphone)

Pressez sur le bouton Répondre/Mettre fin à un appel. Pour de meilleurs résultats,
enregistrez le code de numérotation vocale via votre oreillette. Veuillez consulter le

2. Réglez votre téléphone Bluetooth pour « détecter » le Jabra BT130
Consultez le manuel d’utilisation de votre téléphone. En règle générale, la
procédure à suivre implique d’accéder, sur votre téléphone à un menu d’«
installation », de « connexion » ou « Bluetooth » puis de sélectionner l’option
« détecter » ou « ajouter » un périphérique Bluetooth.* (Voir l’exemple d’un
téléphone portable type dans le schéma 4)
3. Votre téléphone détecte l’oreillette Jabra BT130
Votre téléphone vous demande ensuite si vous voulez effectuer un appairage.
Acceptez en appuyant sur « Oui » ou sur « OK » sur le téléphone et confirmez en
composant le mot de passe ou le code PIN3 = 0000 (4 zéros).
Une fois l’appairage terminé, le téléphone confirme que la procédure a réussi. Dans
l’éventualité où elle aurait échoué, reprendre les étapes 1 à 3.

Si vous voulez utiliser l’oreillette Jabra BT130 avec un téléphone portable non
compatible Bluetooth, l’adaptateur Jabra A210 est la solution.
Il permet une connexion sans fil aux fonctions suivantes de l’oreillette : répondre/
mettre fin à un appel et fonction de numérotation vocale (en fonction des modèles de
téléphones). Les fonctions de rejet d’appel et de rappel du dernier numéro peuvent ne
pas être compatibles avec la prise oreillette du téléphone portable.
Appairage de l’oreillette BT130 avec l’adaptateur Jabra A210
Le processus de pairage est un peu différent :

Mettez votre oreillette Jabra BT130 en mode appairage

Mettez l’adaptateur Jabra A210 en mode appairage

Placez-les à proximité l’un de l’autre. Vous n’avez pas besoin d’un code PIN dédié

1. Éteignez toujours votre casque avant de le ranger et protégez-le bien.

directs du soleil. (Une exposition à de fortes températures est susceptible de nuire
aux performances de l’appareil et de réduire la durée de vie de la batterie).

Garantie de produit limitée Jabra. Jabra garantit à l’Acheteur que durant une période d’une
(1) année à compter de la date d’achat (la « Période de garantie ») de tout produit Jabra
(le « Produit ») par l’Acheteur, le Produit sera en substance conforme aux spécifications
publiées par Jabra pour celui-ci à la date d’achat du Produit par l’Acheteur, sous réserve des
dispositions des présentes. L’Acheteur informera Jabra de tout défaut de conformité au cours
de la Période de garantie et obtiendra de Jabra une autorisation écrite de retour de matériel
(« ARM »), ainsi qu’un numéro d’ARM pour le Produit non conforme, et retournera le Produit
non conforme à Jabra, en port payé, accompagné d’une déclaration décrivant le défaut de
conformité. La seule obligation de Jabra concernant le Produit non conforme sera, au choix
et aux frais de Jabra, de réparer ou de remplacer le Produit de sorte que celui-ci soit en
substance conforme aux spécifications publiées à la date d’acquisition par l’Acheteur ou bien,

1 Bluetooth: est une technologie radio permettant de connecter des périphériques,
tels que des téléphones portables ou des oreillettes, sans fils ni cordons électriques
sur une courte distance (environ 10 mètres). Pour plus d’informations, rendez-vous
sur le site www.bluetooth.com.
Les profils Bluetooth sont des protocoles par le biais desquels les appareils Bluetooth
communiquent avec d’autres périphériques. Les téléphones Bluetooth supportent
soit le profil oreillette, soit le profil mains-libres, soit les deux. Afin de supporter
un profil spécifique, le fabricant de téléphone doit intégrer certaines fonctions
obligatoires dans le logiciel du téléphone.
2 Appairage: crée un lien de communication unique et crypté entre deux appareils
Bluetooth et leur permet de communiquer entre eux. Les appareils Bluetooth ne
fonctionneront pas si ils n’ont pas été appairés ensemble.
3 Le mode de passe ou code PIN: est un code secret qui doit être enregistré dans
votre téléphone portable afin d’effectuer l’appairage de votre téléphone portable
avec l’oreillette Jabra BT130. Il permet à votre téléphone et à l’oreillette Jabra BT130
de se reconnaître et de fonctionner automatiquement ensemble.
4 Le mode veille (standby): correspond au moment où l’oreillette Jabra BT130 attend
passivement un appel. Lorsque vous « mettez fin » à un appel sur votre téléphone
portable, l’oreillette passe automatiquement en mode veille.

Carga del auricular
Compruebe que su Jabra BT130 esté totalmente cargado antes de empezar a utilizarlo.
Utilice el adaptador de CA para cargarlo desde un enchufe o cárguelo directamente
desde su PC con el cable USB incluido. Conecte el auricular tal como se muestra en la
fig. 3. Si el LED está encendido en azul, el auricular se está cargando. Cuando se apaga
el indicador LED azul, significa que está totalmente cargado.

La utilización del teléfono móvil mientras se conduce puede provocar distracciones y
aumentar la probabilidad de tener un accidente. Si las condiciones de circulación lo
aconsejan (mal tiempo, gran densidad de tráfico, niños en el coche, carretera en mal
estado...), aparte el coche de la vía y aparque antes de realizar o responder llamadas.
Intente también que las conversaciones sean cortas y no tome notas ni lea documentos.

El Jabra BT130 está listo para llevarlo en la oreja derecha. Si prefiere la izquierda,
despliegue y gire suavemente 180° el gancho. (Consulte la figura 2)
Para conseguir un rendimiento óptimo, lleve el Jabra BT130 y el teléfono móvil al mismo
lado del cuerpo, o manteniendo una línea de visión entre ellos. En general, conseguirá
mejor rendimiento si no hay obstáculos entre el auricular y el teléfono móvil

Pulse el botón de respuesta/finalización y pulse al mismo tiempo el botón de
aumentar volumen (+) hasta que se encienda una luz azul.
2. Fije su teléfono Bluetooth para que ‘descubra’ el Jabra BT130
Siga las instrucciones de su teléfono. Normalmente tendrá que ir a un menú de
‘configuración’, ‘conexión’ o ‘Bluetooth’ de su teléfono y seleccionar la opción para
‘descubrir’ o ‘añadir’ un dispositivo Bluetooth* (la figura 4 muestra el ejemplo de un
teléfono móvil normal)
3. Su teléfono móvil encontrará el Jabra BT130
Entonces el teléfono le pedirá si quiere emparejarlo con él. Acepte pulsando `Sí ´ u
‘OK’ en el teléfono y confirme con el código de secreto o PIN3 = 0000 (4 ceros).
Su teléfono le informará cuando haya finalizado el emparejado. Si falla el intento de
emparejado, repita los pasos 1 a 3.

Cuidado del auricular

1. Apague siempre el auricular antes de guardarlo y manténgalo bien protegido.

Evite guardarlo en lugares en los que se alcanzan temperaturas elevadas (por
encima de los 60°C / 134°F) – tales como un vehículo caldeado o a la luz del sol. (El
almacenamiento a altas temperaturas puede reducir el rendimiento y la vida de la pila.)
3. No exponga el auricular o cualquiera de los componentes suministrados a la lluvia
o a otros líquidos.
Tengo problemas de emparejado, aunque el teléfono indica lo contrario
Es posible que haya eliminado la conexión de emparejado con el auricular de su
teléfono móvil. Siga las instrucciones de emparejado de la sección 3.
No puedo utilizar las funciones rechazar llamada, retener llamada, remarcado o
marcado activado por voz

¿Funciona el Jabra BT130 con otros equipos Bluetooth?
El Jabra BT130 se ha diseñado para funcionar con teléfonos móviles Bluetooth.
También puede funcionar con otros dispositivos Bluetooth conformes con la norma
Bluetooth versión 1.1 o 1.2 y que admitan un perfil de auricular o de manos libres.

Garantía limitada de productos Jabra. Jabra garantiza al Comprador que durante un periodo
de un (1) año a partir de la fecha de la compra (el “Periodo de Garantía”) de cualquier
producto Jabra (“Producto”) por el Comprador, el Producto cumplirá de forma sustancial las
especificaciones publicadas de Jabra correspondientes al Producto en la fecha de la compra del

Oigo crepitaciones
Para conseguir la mejor calidad de audio, lleve siempre el auricular al mismo lado
del cuerpo que el teléfono móvil.
No se oye nada a través del auricular
•
Aumente el volumen del auricular.
•
Compruebe que el auricular esté emparejado con el teléfono.
•
Compruebe que el teléfono esté conectado al auricular. En caso negativo,
conéctelo sea mediante el menú Bluetooth del teléfono o pulsando
ligeramente el botón de respuesta/finalización y siguiendo el procedimiento de
emparejado (consulte la sección 3)
Uso de un adaptador Jabra Bluetooth

Si desea utilizar el Jabra BT130 y su teléfono móvil no tiene Bluetooth, el adaptador
Jabra A210 es la solución.
Le proporciona una conexión inalámbrica con las siguientes funciones del auricular:
responder/finalizar llamadas y función de marcado por voz (si la admite el teléfono). El
rechazo de llamadas y remarcado del último número pueden no ser soportados a través
del conector de auriculares del teléfono móvil.
Emparejado del Jabra BT130 con el Jabra A210
El proceso de emparejado es ligeramente distinto:
•
Ponga el Jabra BT130 en modo emparejado
•
Ponga el adaptador Jabra A210 en modo emparejado
•
Colóquelos cerca el uno del otro. Para emparejar ambos productos Jabra no se
necesita un código PIN exclusivo. Si precisa más información, consulte el manual del

Realización/respuesta de llamadas con el Jabra A210
•
Cuando haga una llamada desde su teléfono móvil, ésta se transferirá
automáticamente al auricular (si está encendido).

Para responder llamadas: presione ligeramente el botón de respuesta/finalización
del auricular o pulse el botón de respuesta del teléfono móvil

Este dispositivo cumple la Parte 15 de la Normativa FCC. Su operación está sujeta
a las siguientes dos condiciones: (1) Este dispositivo no debe causar interferencias
dañinas, y (2) este dispositivo debe aceptar cualquier interferencia recibida, incluyendo
interferencias que causen una operación no deseada.
No se permite a los usuarios efectuar cambios o modificar el dispositivo de modo
alguno. Cualquier cambio o modificación no expresamente autorizado por Jabra (GN
Netcom) invalidará la autorización del usuario para utilizar el equipo.
Este equipo ha sido probado y se ha verificado que cumple los límites de un dispositivo
digital de la Clase B, conforme con la parte 15 de la normativa FCC. Estos límites están
diseñados para proporcionar protección razonable contra interferencias dañinas
en una instalación residencial. Este equipo genera, utiliza y puede radiar energía de
radiofrecuencia y, en caso de no instalarse y utilizarse de acuerdo con las instrucciones,
puede causar interferencia dañina en las comunicaciones por radio. No obstante, no hay
garantía de que no se produzcan interferencias en una instalación determinada. Si este
equipo causa interferencias dañinas a la recepción de radio o televisión, lo cual puede
determinarse encendiendo y apagando el equipo, se recomienda al usuario intentar
corregir la interferencia con una o más de las siguientes medidas:

Reorientar o reubicar la antena de recepción

Su operación está sujeta a las siguientes dos condiciones: (1) Este dispositivo no

EXCLUSIVO REMEDIO DEL COMPRADOR RESPECTO A CUALQUIER INCUMPLIMIENTO DE LA

a producto alguno que no haya sido usado o manipulado correctamente de acuerdo con las

1 Bluetooth: es una tecnología de radio que conecta dispositivos, como teléfonos
móviles y auriculares, sin cables a una distancia corta (aprox. 10 m). Encontrará más
información en www.bluetooth.com
Los perfiles Bluetooth son las distintas formas que usan los dispositivos Bluetooth
para comunicarse entre ellos. Los teléfonos móviles Bluetooth admiten el perfil de
auricular, el perfil de manos libres o ambos. Para admitir un perfil determinado, un
fabricante de teléfonos debe aplicar determinadas características obligatorias en el
software del teléfono.
2 El emparejado: crea un enlace exclusivo y cifrado entre dos dispositivos Bluetooth
que permite la comunicación entre ellos. Los dispositivos Bluetooth no funcionan
entre ellos si no han sido previamente emparejados.
3 El código secreto o PIN: es un código que se introduce en el teléfono móvil para
emparejarlo con el Jabra BT130. De este modo el teléfono y el Jabra BT130 se
reconocen entre ellos y funcionan conjuntamente de modo automático.
4 El modo de espera: es cuando el Jabra BT130 espera pasivamente una llamada.
Cuando usted “finaliza” una llamada en su teléfono móvil, el auricular pasa a modo
de espera.
