                                         Installation Note  Part number 3E0477 R2  1 March 2004  3E0477 R1 February 2004  Introduction The Cardax 125 Encoder is used in conjunction with the Cardax Encoder III software, for encoding and re-encoding Cardax 125 Series proximity cards. Note: The Cardax 125 Encoder will only operate correctly with the Cardax Encoder III software installed.   Before you begin Unpack the Cardax 125 Encoder and check the shipment contains the following items: • 1 x Cardax 125 Encoder • 1 x Cardax 125 Encoder Installation Note (part number 3E0477) • 1 x DB9 Female / Female cable   Power Supply Requirements The Cardax 125 Encoder requires a supply of 13.6 V DC ± 15% with current at 200 mA per Encoder.
