Bluetooth GPS Quick Tips
After acquiring your Bluethooth GPS Receiver, proceed with the following steps
1.
Install Battery.
Fully charge the battery for at least eight hours before your first use.
Battery Low :
When “LED 1” flashes green light, it signals battery low. Connect Bluethooth GPS
Receiver to a power source for continue operation and recharge simultaneously.
Charging
When battery is being charged, “LED 1” turns to red light. When the battery has
been fully charged, “LED 1” will shut off automatically.
2.Turn on Bluethooth GPS Receiver
Press the “Power Button” for 2 seconds, “LED 1” turns into steady oranage light, and “LED 2” turns
into blue flashing light. This is to activate Bluetooth pairing; it’s required only once for the first use.
3. Activate Bluetooth function of your PDA / PC
Prior to activating the Bluetooth function of your PDA / PC, make sure the device is equipped with
Bluetooth function, and the driver software has been installed.
4. Activate Bluetooth Manager & Established New Connections

First, find the device with which you wish to establish connection.
Open “Bluetooth Manager” on your pocket pc.
Press “New”.
Press "Connect”.

At this point, Bluetooth GPS connection has been successfully established

When “LED 1” flashes orange light twice a second, it’s indicating the BT devices have been paired.
6.Turn off Bluethooth GPS Receiver
Press “Power Button” for 2 seconds, “LED 2” will shut off; and the unit will be turned off.
It is suggested to close the electronic navigation map before GPS, to avoid possible PDA /PC freeze.
7. About Signals
LED 1 : a. Red light indicates Bluetooth GPS Receiver is being charged.
b. Steady orange light indicates Bluethooth GPS Receiver has been turned on, but not yet
get a position fix. It flashes once per second, after BT GPS receiver gets a position fix.
c. Flashing green light indicates battery low.
LED 2 : a. Blue light flashing swiftly, signals pairing. It flashes twice a second, signals PDA/PC and
Bluethooth GPS Receiver have been paired successfully.
Note!!
Bluethooth GPS Receiver is compatible with ASUS A620BT/ A716/A730, iPAQ 2210/ 1940/
4150/ RX3715/ RX3417, Acer N30/ N35, MIO 558, O2 XDA II, Palm Zire 72/ T/ T3…, etc.
It operates on OS with Bluetooth fucntion that supports SPP.
