FAQ
What are the meanings of the audible/visual alerts?
Long beep – Cook is added/edited.
Three beeps repeated and internal temperature icon flashes – Early
warning temperature has been reached.
Constant beeps – Target temperature has been reached.
Two beeps repeated and ambient temperature icon flashes – Ambient
temperature is too low or too high.
Two short beeps repeated every five seconds and Bluetooth icon
flashes or is gone – Bridge has lost connection with the MeatProbe.
One short beep repeated every ten seconds and name of cook flashes
– The MeatProbe has low batteries.
How do I stop the audible alarm?
Clinking the next button will stop the alarm.
How do I turn off the LCD backlight?
Long press and release the button. This will toggle between an always
on backlight and a temporary 30 second backlight. Clicking the next
button will then turn on the backlight.
Can I toggle between ºF and ºC?
You can change to your preferred temperature scale in the app
settings and recreate the cook.
Do I need to setup the WiFi each time I use the Bridge?
The Bridge remembers the last connected WiFi. If it is unable to
connect on boot, it will rebroadcast its WiFi signal so that it can be
connected to another WiFi.
