PS440 
The  PS440  is  a  smart,  temperature  and  humidity,  sensor  which  sends  an 
alert  to  the  PS  Controller  via  RF  signaling  when  there  is  a  pre-defined 
change  in  the  temperature  or  humidity,  for  the  controller  to  update  the 
temperature  and  humidity  display  in  the  PS  App. Base  on  the 
temperature/humidity change, the controller can also take actions on other 
PS  devices,  e.g.  PS  switch/power  outlets,  automatically  according  to  the 
pre-programmed rule set. 
Overview & Operation 
1. Battery Compartment 
 Install the battery (CR2450) 
2. Reset Pin/LED   
Reset Pin 
 Insert a small pin (e.g. paper clip) to set the PS440 to scan mode 
 Insert a small pin (e.g. paper clip) and hold for 5 seconds to reset 
PS440 to factory default setting 
LED 
 Orange – Flashing => PS440 is in scan mode 
 Orange – Steady for 2 seconds => Indicate PS440 reset is finished 
Installation 
1. Choose  a  location  where  you  want  to  detect  the  temperature  and 
humidity in your home. 
2. Open  the  battery  compartment,  remove  the  battery’s  insulator,  and   
then close the battery compartment 
3. Peel off the  tape backing  from  the  Sensor,  and  mount them  onto  the 
chosen location from step 1. 
Link PS440 to the Controller 
Download and install the latest PS App to your mobile device, and refer to 
the walk through instructions from PS App’s to add your PS440 sensor to the 
Controller. The main steps are: 
 Use the PS App, set the Controller into the scan mode. 
 Use PS440 sensor’s reset pin to set it to scan mode. 
 The pairing process between the Controller and PS440 sensor will now 
take place. 
 The PS App will show the new device, PS440 is added.

This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a 
Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are 
designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a 
residential installation. This equipment generates uses and can radiate radio 
frequency  energy  and,  if  not  installed  and  used  in  accordance  with  the 
instructions,  may  cause  harmful  interference  to  radio  communications. 
However,  there  is  no  guarantee  that  interference  will  not  occur  in  a 
particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to 
radio  or  television  reception,  which  can  be  determined  by  turning  the 
equipment  off  and  on,  the  user  is  encouraged  to  try  to  correct  the 
interference by one or more of the following measures:   
-- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.   
-- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.   
-- Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that 
to which the receiver is connected.   
-- Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.   
This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to 
the following two conditions:   
(1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must 
accept  any  interference  received,  including  interference  that  may  cause 
undesired operation.   
Changes or  modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible 
for compliance could void the user's authority to operate the equipment.
