Servicing is required when the apparatus has been

14. Caution: This product uses a built-in battery. Batteries

designed in such a way that it does not require

3. Use the controls on your device, or the playback
buttons on the speaker to play music.
Notes:
The speaker will disconnect and power down from your
device if they are too far apart, or left idle. To reconnect,
move the speaker/ device within Bluetooth connection
range, within 15 minutes.
Function of speaker playback buttons may vary
depending on compatibility with your actual Blueooth
device.
Reset Bluetooth Pairing
Normally, your speaker automatically reconnects to the
most recently paired device when switched on.
If you want to change to other Bluetooth devices, or have
diculty pairing to a new device, or experience problems
reconnecting your current device, do the following:
In Bluetooth pairing mode, press and hold F/J for
3 seconds. You will hear an audio double tone (a low
and a high note). This indicates the speaker is now
successfully reset. Any previously paired devices are
now cleared from the speaker's Bluetooth memory.
Connecting with AUX IN
For device players without Bluetooth functionality, use
the included ⅛" (3.5mm) audio cable to connect to the
speaker’s AUX IN jack. The speaker's AUX IN LED lights up
green during connection.
Note:
Bluetooth functionality is automatically deactivated
when AUX IN is connected.
The speaker playback control buttons ; / and F/J
are only valid in Bluetooth mode.

Top Panel Controls Troubleshooting
No sound/power
Make sure the built-in battery is fully charged using the
supplied AC power cable. Alternatively, use the cable to
power and operate the speaker directly.
Check and turn up the volume on the speaker and your
audio source.
If using AC power, check your cable is properly connected.
Sound distorted
Adjust the bass and treble controls.

Power / Charge your Speaker
1. Connect the supplied power cable to the AC IN jack
and a standard mains wall outlet.
The BATTERY LED lights red during charging and
turns o when fully charged.
2. Unplug the cable after charging.
Notes:
For best sound performance, fully charge the speaker before
use, or when you hear the "Battery low" voice prompt, or the
BATTERY LED ashes slowly.
The supplied power cable can also be used to directly power
the speaker.
Lithium Battery Notes:
Charge batteries on a reproof surface away from ammable
items or liquids. Follow the instructions for charging the
speaker and do not charge longer than recommended.
Recycle lithium batteries. Do not dispose of them in the
trash. Do not burn or bury batteries. Do not puncture or
crush. Do not disassemble.
If the electrolyte in the cells should get on your skin,
thoroughly wash with soap and water. If in the eyes, rinse
thoroughly with cool water. Immediately seek medical
attention.
Connecting to a Bluetooth Device
1. Press the ON/OFF button to turn on the speaker.
The LED ashes blue quickly as your speaker searches
for Bluetooth devices.
2. Activate your device’s Bluetooth function (refer to
your device’s user’s guide). When your device locates
Realistic Retro, select this from the device list. If your
smartphone requires a password, enter 0000. When
paired, the indicator lights blue steadily.
