DESCRIPTION:
The ST-1BLF and ST-3BLF-TR are low profile tags for tracking, location and security of
personnel. These tags have locating “Blink” message capability for RTLS applications and also
include a Low Frequency (LF) Receiver so that they can be instantly detected at areas of interest
such as building exits, secure rooms, or workstations. The tags can trigger security-related action,
identification/authentication, and patient interaction recording upon entering detection or security
zones created using GuardRFID Tag Exciters.
The ST-3BLF-TR has two buttons to allow users to send configurable alerts to the system as well
as two visual indicators. It also has a UHF Receiver so that the tag-wearer can receive alerts or
acknowledgements from the system through the indicators and an audible buzzer, and contains a
sensor to provide the ability to sense motion or detect a fall. This enables powerful staff duress
call and personnel safety capability, as well as paging functionality.
The low profile design ensures that they can be comfortably carried using a clip or lanyard. They
can also be coupled with existing personnel badges or proximity cards using the convenient
adhesive label on the tag. Splash-resistance ensures that these tags can be worn outdoors and
can be easily cleaned and sterilized.
