Remote Control user manual Remote Control Remote control can be programmed to operate some features on TVs or audio/video equipment. The key features of the remote are: • The Remote works in IR, RF and Bluetooth interface. • The remote uses Bluetooth for two-way communication to the STB • Like RF mode, Bluetooth eliminates the need for the remote and the paired devices to be in line of sight to each other. • The Remote has a touchpad. Basic operations and functions can be made by sliding and pressing the touchpad. • If the remote is not paired to a STB, the touchpad can be used for functions like Up, Down, Left, Right and Select. • Once the remote is paired to a STB, it can send absolute touch data to the STB Voice recognition is available with the VRC81 Remote. Voice search will only work when the remote is paired to the STB.  Activating RF To pair the remote control to the STB, perform the following steps: 1. Press and HOLD MUTE and VOL+ at the same time until the blue light blinks after this.  2. STB enters searching mode and choose the remote control. 3. Pair with STB.  Deactivating RF To deactivate the RF Transmitter on the remote control, perform the following steps: The RCU pairing can be cleared pressing and holding <<FFWD+REW>> keys simultaneously for 3 seconds. The RCU should also send the un-pairing message to STB so that the STB can remove the pairing entry
RESTORING FACTORY DEFAULT SETTINGS To reset all the functions of the remote control to the factory default settings following these steps: 1. Press and hold MUTE and SELECT at the same time until the green light flashes twice. 2.
