Bluetooth Sound Bar with Built-In subwoofer FCC Warnings WARNING:Changes or modifications to this unit not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment. It has been designed in such a way that it does not require a safety connection to electrical earth. 28.Use of the apparatus in moderate climates. Insert the AC plug (with the 2 blades) into a conveniently located AC outlet having AC 100-240V~, 50/60 Hz. Note: The AC plug supplied with the unit is polarized to help minimize the possibitity of electric shock. if the AC plug does not fit into a nonpolarized AC dutlet,do not file or cut the wide blade ,it is the user’s responsibility to have an electrician replace the obsolete outlet. Placing on the table Ventilation When placing the Sound Bar on an entertainment center, bookshelf, or any type of enclosed space, be sure to allow at least 2-3 inches of space around the Sound Bar for ventilation. If the Sound Bar is enclosed in a tight space, without ventilation, heat generated from the Sound Bar could produce a potential heat hazard. 2. Mounting the Speaker Bar onto a wall We recommend having this speaker professionally mounted. By using the included wall mounting accessories, the sound bar can be mounted onto a wall. Distance Between Two Brackets 16 inches 2.1. Mounting on the wooden wall You should use 2 pieces of short screws (Included) 1. Mark the position of the mounting screws on the wall using a pencil. 2. Put the sound bar onto the mounting brackets. Make sure they are firm and stable. 2.2. Mounting on the wall You may use 2 pieces of plastic tubes (Included) 2 pieces of short screws (Included) 1. Mark the position of the mounting screws on the wall using a pencil. 2. Drill 2 x 0.315” holes by a powerful electric drill. 3. Insert the supplied 2 plastic tubs into the holes by hamme 4. Put the SOUND Bar onto the mounting brackets. Make sure they are firm and stable. (1) (2) - VOLUME + AUX R STANDBY AUX L SOURCE MUTE LINE IN AC~ 1. VOLUME -: Press to decrease volume. 2. VOLUME +: Press to increase volume. 3. STANDBY button: Press to turn the sound bar off or on. 4. SOURCE: Press repeatedly to select the input sound to BT (Bluetooth receiver),AUX, LINE in or FM. 5. MUTE: Press to mute the sound, press again to resume. 6. AUX L/R IN jacks. 7. 3.5mm LINE IN jack. 8: Power cord. 9. Mounting bracket. 1. SLEEP: Press to turn the unit to sleep mode. 2. SOURCE: Press repeatedly to select the input sound to BT (Bluetooth receiver),AUX, LINE in or FM. 3. CLOCK: Press to set the clock. 4. TIMER: press to set the time. 5. MUTE: Press to mute the sound, press again to resume. 6. STANDBY button: Press to turn the unit on or off. 7. :Previous the Fm channel. 8. :Next the Fm channel. 9. Number buttons: press 0-9 to select the radio channel. 10. MEM: press to save the favorable Fm channel. 11. PAIR/ :Press to match your blue tooth device to this sound bar under BT mode. When play music, press it to pause, Press again to resume. 12. VOICE button: Press to switch to the EQ optimized for dialogue. 13. EQ: 14. MUSIC button: Press to switch to the EQ optimized for music. 15. MOVIE button: Press to switch to the EQ optimized for movie sound. 16. TREBLE buttons: Press to adjust the treble up or down. 17. BASS buttons: Press to adjust the bass up or down. 18. CH + button: Press to skip to next stored channel. CH - button: Press to skip to previous stored channel. 19. VOLUME + buttons: Press to adjust the volume up. VOLUME - buttons: Press to adjust the volume down. To replace the button cell: 1. Push the tab, then slide out the battery tray as the figure on the right. 2. Replace the old button cell by a new CR 2025 button cell as the polarity markings on the remote control. 3. [The remote control supplied with] This product contains a coin/button cell battery. If the coin/button cell battery is swallowed, it can cause severe internal burn in just 2 hours and can lead to death. Keep new and used batteries away from children. If the battery compartment does not closesecurely, stop using the product and keep it away from children. If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention. Connect the Aux out jacks from the external audio player (such like DVD player, TV, VCR …etc.) to the AUX IN jacks on the rear of Sound Bar by the supplied RCA connection cable as the figure below: Note: Left=white, Right=red. TV red AUX R white AUX L LINE IN 2. Connect the Sound Bar to the power as previous procedures. The Standby indicator will turn on. 3. Press the Standby ( ) button on the Sound Bar or Remote Control to power on the Sound Bar. 4. Press the SOURCE button on the unit or Remote Control repeatedly to turn to AUX mode. The display will show AUX. 5. Power on the connected external player and start playback as usual. 6. Press the volume buttons to adjust volume level. 7. Press the TREBLE buttons on the Remote Control to adjust treble as desired. 8. Press the BASS buttons on the Remote Control to adjust bass as desired. 9. Press the EQ preset mode buttons MUSIC; MOVIE or VOICE to turn on the preset EQ effect as desired. 10. Press the MUTE button to turn off the sound, press again to resume. 11. When finished listening, press Standby ( ) button on the Speaker or Remote Control to power Off (Standby mode) the Speaker. LISTENING FROM LINE IN JACKS: 1. Connect the Headphone/Earphone; Line out jacks from the external audio player (such like MP3 player; Discman … etc) to the LINE IN jacks on the rear of Sound Bar by the supplied Line In connection cable as the figure below: mp3 AUX R AUX L LINE IN 2. Connect the Sound Bar to the power as previous procedures. The Standby indicator will turn on. 3. Press the Standby ( ) button on the Sound Bar or Remote Control to power on the Sound Bar. 4. Press the SOURCE button on the unit or Remote Control to turn to LINE mode. 5. Power on the connected external player and start playback as usual. 6. Other operations are same as AUX IN mode. LISTEN TO RADIO : 1. Power on the Sound Bar as previous procedures. 2. Press the SOURCE button on the unit or on Remote Control repeatedly to turn to Radio (FM) mode. The display will show Fm channel. 3. In first time: Press the button on the Remote Control to start auto searching (It may take a few minutes). The available FM stations will be stored into internal memory list. After scanning : Press the CH (Channel) + button to skip to next stored channel, press the CH (Channel) – button to skip to previous stored channel. Repeat the same procedures until the desired station are found and play. 4. Other operations are same as AUX IN mode. BT PAIRING AND PLAYBACK: 1. Power on the Sound Bar as previous procedures. 2. Press the SOURCE button on the unit or on Remoto Control repeatedly to turn to BT mode. The display will show BT. 3. Turn on the BT function in the external BT player and wait a few seconds until the external BT player and the speaker were paired. Play the music in the external BT Player as usual. 4. Other operations are same as AUX IN mode. NOTES: 1. In first time use, connect the external BT Player as below: A. Turn the Sound Bar to BT mode as previous procedures, the BT indicator will turn on and blinking. B. Power on the external BT player and enter to BT searching mode. Start pairing as the on screen instructions on the external BT Player (For details pairing procedures, please refer to the user’s manual of your BT player.). C. When the external BT player searched the Sound Bar, our model number “CHT923” will appear on the display of external BT player. D. Pairing code “0000” may need to enter. 10 Problem What to do No power Check the connection of the power plug between the speaker and wall outlet. Check that the volume control is NOT at minimum Check that it is NOT set to mute. Inspect or replace the battery. Make sure there are no obstacles obscuring the front of the Speaker. Check if you have pairing or not. It needs to pair the external BT player and the speaker with password "0000" before 1st time listening. No sound The remote control won' t work No sound from in BT mode Maintenance 1. Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents or solvents. 2. Do not attempt to disassemble your product. 3.
