Safety Information
 Caution: risk of explosion if battery is replaced by an i ncorrect type.
 Dispose of used batteries according to the instructions.
 For pluggable equipment, the socket‐outlet shall be installed near the
equipment and shall be easily accessible.
 RADIO WAVES:
FCC RF exposure information (SAR)
This device is designed and manufactured not to exceed the emission limits
for exposure to radio frequency (RF) energy set by the Federal
Communications Commission of the U.S. Government.
The exposure standard for wireless devices employs a unit of measurement
known as the Specific Absorption Rate, or SAR. The SAR limit set by the FCC is
1.6 W/kg.
Although the SAR is determined at the highest certified power level, the
actual SAR level of the device while operating can be well below the
maximum value. While there may be differences between the SAR levels of
various devices and at various positions, they all meet the government
requirements.
The FCC has granted an Equipment Authorization for this model device with
all reported SAR levels evaluated as in compliance with the FCC RF exposure
guidelines. SAR information on this model device is on file with the FCC and
can be found under the Display Grant section of
http://www.fcc.gov/oet/ea/fcc id after searching on the FCC ID for your
device, which can be found on the back of the device
The highest SAR values under the FCC guidelines for this device model are:
Maximum SAR for this model and conditions under which it was
recorded.
SAR
Head
1.139 W/kg(1g)
SAR
Body‐Worn
0.986 W/kg(1g)
SAR
Hotspot
1.083 W/kg(1g)
During use, the actual SAR values for this device are usually well below
the values stated above. This is because, for purposes of system efficiency
and to minimize interference on the network, the operating power of your
mobile device is automatically decreased when full power is not needed
for the call. The lower the power output of the device, the
43
Safety InformaƟŽŶ
lower its SAR value.
If you are not using an approved accessory ensure that whatever product
is used is free of any metal and that it posiƟons the phone the indicated
distance away from the body.
OrganizaƟons such as the World Health OrganizaƟon has stated that if
people are concerned and want to reduce their exposure they could use
a hands-free device to keep the phone away from the head and body
during phone calls, or reduce the amount of Ɵme spent on the phone.
As mobile devices oīer a range of funcƟons, they can be used in
posiƟons other than against your ear. In such circumstances the device
will be compliant with the guidelines when used with headset or usb data
cable. If you are using another accessory ensure that whatever product is
used is free of any metal and that it posiƟons the phone at least 1.0 cm
away from the body.
To prevent possible hearing damage, do not listen at high
volume levels for long periods.

Your device should be handled with cares. The following suggesƟons will
help you to use your phone in a safe and proper way:
zUse a dry soŌ cloth to wipe general dirt. Do not use a hard cloth,

completely before replacing it.
zDo not use or store the device in dusty, dirty areas. Its moving parts and
electronic components can be damaged.

can shorten the life of electronic devices and damage baƩeries.
zDo not aƩempt to open the device other than as instructed in this
guide.
zDo not drop, knock, or shake the device. Rough handling can break
internal circuit boards and Įne mechanics.
zDo not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents, or strong detergents to
clean the device. Only use a soŌ, clean, dry cloth to clean the surface of
the device.
zDo not paint the device. Paint can clog the moving parts and prevent
