SETUP1. Connect the included power supply with a wall outlet and then to the back of FREYA to start charging.2. A small LED light on the rear will light up indicating charging status.Note: Your device will fully charge in approx. 2 hours, which  we  recommend  before  the  rst  use.  (Battery lifespan will vary according to usage)Charging: Power On:1. Press “PLAY/PAUSE“ and FREYA will power on. 2. Freya will say “Waiting for connection”.3. GET CONNECTED TO FREYAHow to make a connection to FREYA How to make a connection to FREYA1. Power up your FREYA and it will try to establish the previous connection (if any), FREYA will say ”Waiting for connection” and the four white LEDs are ashing twice.If a connection is successful FREYA will say ”Your device is now connected” and the four white LEDs will go to breathing. Also FREYA will show a purple LED to indicate it is connected as a standalone speaker (mono).2. If a connection cannot be established FREYA will say ”Please reconnect your device” and the four white LEDs will ash twice to indicate there is no connection.Now you have 2 options:Getting started:GET CONNECTED TO FREYA1. Open the Bluetooth settings on your device  (eg.  PC,  iPhone,  MAC)  and  nd your FREYA speaker on the list. 2. Choose FREYA on the list to establish the connection. If successful FREYA will say: ”Your device is now connected”.1. Press and hold VOL- and VOL+ buttons simultaniously for 3-4 seconds to set FREYA into ”Discovering mode”. Freya will say “Please reconnect your device”2. Now you should be able to see FREYA on your Bluetooth device list.3. Choose FREYA on the list to pair your device with FREYA. If successful FREYA will say: ”Your device is now connected”.A) If this is your rst time:B) If you have already madea connection before:109Hold for 4 secs.
How to get great stereo sound using two FREYA speakersHow to get great stereo sound using two FREYA speakersPAIRING TWO FREYA’S PAIRING TWO FREYA’S1. Power ON your 2 FREYA speakers and make sure that no other devices (eg. PC, iPhone, Android phone) are connected to any of them. Pick one FREYA as your number 1.2. On the backside of your FREYA speakers  you  will  nd  a  button  called ”Stereo Pairing”. On FREYA number 1: press and hold the ”Stereo Pairing” button for 4 seconds and this FREYA will be set as left speaker. (Blue LED will start ashing)3. On your FREYA number 2: press the ”Stereo Pairing” button once and this FREYA will be set as your right speaker.(Blue LED will start ashing).Note: This stereo pairing process must be initiated on speaker number 2 within 2 minutes. Otherwise speaker number 1 will return to mono mode.How to setup two FREYA’s:4. Now your two FREYA speakers will quickly communicate and soon say ”Your Device is now connected” to tell you that Stereo Pairing is OK. You will now see a blue LED on both speakers that indicate 2 FREYA’s are connected in stereo.Note: If you want to use your FREYA speakers as standalone speakers (mono speakers) then you must un-set the stereo pairing. Simply press once on one of the ”Stereo Pairing” buttons on either of your FREYA’s.Note 2:  If you permanently want to remove the stereo pairing. Then you must press and hold PREV and NEXT simultaniously for 4 seconds to clear all pairing data from memory. BUTTONS ON FREYATheir functionsBUTTONS ON FREYA.Their functionsIf you experience any problems with your FREYA during connection or pairing process you can try to reset/clear the memory of FREYA. 1. Press and hold PREV and NEXT buttons simultaniously for 4 seconds and your FREYA will go to standby mode. 2. Now you have deleted all stored data about paired devices and you can now begin the setup process again.1. Press the “+“ to turn the volume up.2. Press the “-” to turn the volume down.Volume Up / Down:Reset:1. Press the “      “ to play the next song.2. Press the “      “ to play the previous song.Next / Previous Song:1. Press “      “ to power on FREYA.2. Press and hold “      ” to power off FREYA.Power On / Off:1. Press ”      “ button to pause music.2. LED INDICATIONFREYA has the following LED behaviors for your indicationFREYA has the following LED behaviors for your indicationConstant green light when fully charged.Constant orange light when charging.Flashing orange light for low power.LED INDICATION Power Off:When FREYA is turned off - all LED’s are off as well.Starting:The  four  white  LEDs  will  ash twice and FREYA is trying to establish a previous connection.No Connection:When FREYA does not have any connection, the 4 white LED’s will ash twice.Sleep Mode/No playback(Mono):Top LED is Purple while the four white LEDs are breathing.Sleep Mode/No playback (Stereo):Top  LED  is  Blue.  All  four  white LEDs are breathing.Playing Mono:The top LED will be Purple and all four white LEDs will be ON.Playing Stereo:Top LED will be Blue and all four white LEDs will also be ON.Playing Aux-In:The top LED will be off while the white LEDs will indicate the Bluetooth connection status.1817Rear Charging LED:
PLAYBACK ON FREYABluetoothYou can also use the included 3.5mm line-in cable for music playback. This way it is possible to playback music from devices that are not wireless. 1. Connect the included cable to FREYA’s AUX in. 2. Connect the other end to the music device Line-out Headphone out.Note:  You must make sure that Bluetooth playback is stopped before you can use AUX-In. Bluetooth playback has 1. priority.You can play music on your FREYA or FREYA’s (Stereo) using the Bluetooth connection you have established (using the guide on page 9 and 10).Simply choose FREYA as music playback device. (Please refer to the user guide of your device if you need to know more about Music playback via Bluetooth)NOTE: The FREYA speaker of which your iPhone, PC or MAC etc. is connected to, is acting as Master speaker.
