Use as intended only. Use only with NiMH rechargeable batteries. Do not attempt to charge any other type of batteries. 2. Place batteries into Charger in proper polarity and do not install batteries of different types, charge levels, or capacities together. 3. For indoor use only. Do not expose Charger to rain or moisture. 4. Remove from electrical outlet when not in use. 5. Do not use with extension cord. 8. This product is not a toy. Do not allow children to play with or near this item. 9. Unplug Charger before performing any cleaning. Use only dry cloth for cleaning; do not immerse Charger in water. 10. Properly dispose of all used batteries. 11. Use in only a vertical or floor mounting position. 12. Maintain product labels and nameplates. These carry important safety information. If unreadable or missing, contact Harbor Freight Tools for a replacement. 6. Do not disassemble or open housing. 7. Inspect before every use; do not use if parts are loose or damaged. Item 62154 Charging Instructions Read the ENTIRE IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION section at the beginning of this document including all text under subheadings therein before set up or use of this product. 1. Insert 2 to 4 AA or AAA rechargeable Ni-MH NOTE: The LED’s will NOT switch off batteries into the battery compartments. when batteries are fully charged. NOTE: The batteries should be inserted in pairs side-by-side and be of the same type and capacity. 2. Make sure to follow the indicated polarity specified on the battery slots. 3. Plug the Charger into a household electrical outlet. The LED will light up instantly to indicate proper charging is taking place. 4. Remove the batteries after the specified charge time has passed (see Specifications on facing page.) Once batteries are removed, the LED will turn off. Note: The LED will turn off after about 12.5 hours of charging. Remove batteries once LED turns off. 5. Unplug Charger from outlet. Keep stored in a secure and dry location when not in use. To take advantage of this warranty, the product or part must be returned to us with transportation charges prepaid. Proof of purchase date and an explanation of the complaint must accompany the merchandise. If our inspection verifies the defect, we will either repair or replace the product at our election or we may elect to refund the purchase price if we cannot readily and quickly provide you with a replacement. We will return repaired products at our expense, but if we determine there is no defect, or that the defect resulted from causes not within the scope of our warranty, then you must bear the cost of returning the product.
