The two buttons on the remotewill operate one or more receiverunits with matching channels.2. Push the ON button to turn theplugged in receiver on or the OFFbutton to turn the plugged in re-ceiver off.Battery ReplacementThe remote control requires a type A23 12 Voltalkaline battery to operate. The remote control isshipped with the battery installed. With typicaluse, the battery will last approximately one year.Remove battery when remote will not be used foran extended period of time.To replace the battery, follow the instructionsbelow:1. Place remote control face down on a flatsurface.2. Remove screw on bottom of remote with asmall phillips-head screwdriver.2-BUTTON REMOTE CONTROLONOFF3. Gently insert a small flat-head screwdriverbetween the two halves on the bottom of theremote and twist. Carefully separate theback of the remote from the front.4. Lift the back of the remote up and lay aside.5. Remove battery. Install replacement bat-tery. Make sure battery is oriented properly(see illustration).6. Most instal-lations will not require you to change the twodip switches on your remote control or re-ceiver.Note: If purchasing more than one remotecontrol system, select different operatingchannels unless you want one remote con-trol to operate multiple receivers.These remote control products communicate byusing channels that can be changed by slidingdip switches into the ON or OFF position on boththe transmitter and receiver unit(s). Note: Switchsettings must match. Other remote controlledunit(s) may cause interference and the systemmay not function properly. Follow the instruc-tions below for setting a new channel.1. Locate dip switches on both the transmitterand receiver unit(s).2. To change the channel, slide dip switches toON or OFF as needed.
