Installing batteries in reoeiver:
You'll need to buy 3 "AA“ batteries for the receiver.
In typical use alkaline batteries will last up to 6

I. To open the battery
compartment, first
remove the belt clip by
sliding clip down.
2. Open battery compartment
by sliding door in direction of
arrow on door.
3. Install the 3 alkaline "AA“
batteries making sure the
batteries are aligned
properly.
4. Slide door onto receiver
making sure the door snaps
into place.
5. Slide Belt rlip onto bark of
receiver; note that the clip
can be shapped into place in
4directions 90° of each otherfi
Replacing battery in transmitter:
(Note transmitter comes with Lithium battery- LR2032 installed)
I. To open battery
compartment door,
remove screws in
door using a small
Philips head screwdriver.
2 Carefully slide old
battery (note battery
alignment) out and
discard as per local codes.
3. Slide new Lithium
battery in place in
same alignment as
old battery.
4. Place battery
compartment oor on
to transmitter and
screw in place.
Test Caregiver Alert by
pressing button on Transmitter to verify the
transmitter and reoeiver function properly.

When the Caregiver Alert is
not in use the receiver should
be switched oil to extend the
battery life.
Function Setting:
Your Caregiver Alert receiver has two alerting
methods, one o 6~beep sound and the other is a
vibration mode. You can also set the receiverfor
both functions simultaneously. These functions can
be set by sliding the switch from the “OH" position
to the mode of your choice.
Security Oode Settings:
Your Caregiver Alerts em has up to 128
selectable Security es available. The code is
' factory set and does not need to be chan ed unless
you are usin more than one system or ere is
outside inte erence. Other wireless products may
cause interference and the Coregiyer Alert may not
operate properly. To change the code, simply
follow the instructions below.
1. Open the battery compartment door on both the
receiver and transmitter. Remove the batteries.
2. Inside both devices you will see u dip switch with
switches numbered 1 thru 8.
3. Slide any one or more of the switches on the
receiver to the ON position. Slide the corresponding
switch on the transmitter to the ON position, making
sure that both devices have matching settings.
4. Replace the batteries, do not attach the
compartment doors Test system by pressing the
button on the transmitter.
5. If system works then re lose the battery ,
compartment doors. If it oes not recheck the
batteries alignment and that the code settings
are the some for both units.
