User Manual*Please read the user's manual carefully before operation.The illustrations in the manual are only for your reference, please in kind prevail. This  product  is  a  smart  photoelectric  smoke  sensor, with  ultra-low-power  Z-Wave  wireless  network technology  design. It  is  an  warning  device,  cannot sense gas, heat, or flame,  cannot prevent or  put out fire.Real-time  detecting  the  presence  of  smoke, detection  of  visible  particles(smoldering  fire)  faster than  ionization  smoke  alarms.  Red  LED  flashes rapidly  and  detectors  sound  alarm  once  detecting smoke  fire  danger,  it  can  alert  you  and  your  family timely.  Smoke  alarms  should  be  installed  in  all rooms,  living  room,  storage  areas,  basements  and atticsunit that fire may happen.1. This sensor is designed specifically for home use, may not able to provide sufficient fire alert for public areas.2.  Please  avoid  installation  in  bathrooms  and  other  very humid places, dusty or greasy areas, or very airy place with air conditioner, ceiling fans,etc.3.  Please  keep  sensor  clean,  and  do  not  let  dust accumulated. It is  recommended   to be cleaned  every 6 months with a household cleaner and a soft brush.4. The effective lifespan is  10 years.  Replacement every 10  years,  regardless  of  sensors  breakdown  or  not  ( battery lifespan: 3 years).5. Please pay attention if it alarms. Besides proper use of sensor,  we  should  also  strengthen  the  consciousness of fire safety.Flat ceiling mounting The  preferred  location  to  install  smoke  sensor  is  in  the centre  of  the  ceiling,  because  smoke,  heat  and combustible  products  rise  to  ceiling  and  will    laterally spread.Keep  at  least  30cm  distance  from    lights  or decorations,  and  at  least  15  cm    away  from  walls  and corners. Sloping ceiling mountingIf  ceiling  is sloping,  please  install  the  smoke  sensor  at horizontal distance 90cm away from the ceiling top.Rotate  the    anticlockwise  to  separate  from bracket, then  remove  battery  insulating strip to  electrify the  . sensorsensorAttach  the  sensor  to  the  mounting  bracket  and  turn clockwise to lock into place. Remove the membrane of double sided adhesive tape on the mounting bracket.please refer  to  the  following situations, if  the  sensor can not work normally:1.Battery  reaches  service  life  (status  refer  to  form  1).   Pleasereplace the battery.2.Fault affected by dirt with dust or oil, etc (status refer to Form 1). Please clean the alarm correctly.3.Whether the alarm is properly rotated into the mounting bracket.Please make sure there is no real fire danger when using hush  function.  If  non-emergency  smoke(e.g.  Steam) causes  nuisance  alarms,  please  do  not  stop  alarm  by block smoke  detector  or  in other forms.  You could  press the  hush/test  button  to  stop  alarm  temporarily.(Ten minutes later, the  smoke  detector  will be  back  to  normal working condition)Press  and  release the test button to  test  the  alarm.  The alarm  will  sound  loud  short  beeps.  It  means  the  smoke detector can work normally. The alarm may stop sounding once releasing the  test button. It  is suggested to  test the smoke alarm at least one time every week. Do not use an open flame to test this smoke alarm.Please  replace  battery  correctly  according  to  the  positive and  negative  electrode.  Dispose  of  used  battery  in  right way.
