1 Turn on the TV and select a program to watch.

Understanding the basics
Turning your TV on or off
To turn your TV on orofl(standby mode):
1 Plug the power cord into an AC poweroutlet.
2 Press ('1 (power). VourTVturns on
3 Press ('1 again to turn ottyourTV. When you turn otfyourTV, it
goes into standby mode.
Warning: When your TV is in standbyrnade, It is still receiving power To
completely discannectpawer, unplug the power cord

Selecting the video input source
To selectthe video input source:
1 Turn on yourTV, then press INPUT on the remote control or on
the TV. The lNPl/TSOl/R(Emenu opens.
2 Press A or V to highlightthe video source you want,then press
ENTER. Options include TV,Video,(omponent,P((eomputer),
nominate.
Selecting a channel
Tip: ll you are using a cable arsatellite box, use the remote control that
came With that device to change channels
To selectachannel:
~ Press (II /\ /(H v to go tothe nextor preVious channel.
. Press the number buttons to enterthe channel numberyou want,
then wait forthe channel to change, or press ENTER to change
the channel immediately,
- To select a digital channel, press the number buttonsto
select the main digital channel, then press the dash(-). button,
then the number buttons again to selectthe sub-channel,
Wait for the channel to change or press ENTERto change the
channel.
Note: Button presses nriistbe Within three seconds of each other
- Press lAST to goto the last channel viewed.
- Press GUIDE to displaya list ofmemorized channels, pressA or V
to select the channel you want from the list, then press ENTER to
gate that channel,
Note: If the list has more than one page, press A or V to scroll through
the pages.
Adjusting the volume
To adjust the volume:
. Press VOL A [VOL v to increase or decreasethe volume.
~ Press MUTE to temporarily turn offall sound. Press MUTE again
to restore the sound.

banner shows current program information such as (hannel
numb video input source, and resolution.

Picture Mode
Lets you enable one of five preset viewing
