Student Quick Start Guide Registering your i>clicker+ Changing the Frequency Answering Questions Replacing the Batteries Check with your instructor to find out whether you should register your remote through your institution’s Course Management System or the iclicker website. 1. Press and hold the Power button until the Power light y>à iÃÊ}ÀiiÊ . Press the A-E button that corresponds to your answer. Êy>à }ÊÀi`Ê Low Battery light indicates less than 10 hours of battery life remain. Use the 8-character ID printed on the back of the remote to register. Turning on your i>clicker+ Press the Power button. Ê UÊÊÊÃ`Ê}ÀiiÊ Power light indicates your remote is on. 2. Use the A-E buttons to enter the 2-letter frequency code provided by your instructor. Green lights indicate that the frequency was changed successfully. Flashing red A-E lights indicate that the frequency was not changed successfully. Check the frequency code provided by your instructor and try again. Ê UÊÊÊÃÌi>`ÞÊ}ÀiiÊ light indicates that your answer was received. Ê UÊÊÊy>à }ÊÀi`Ê light indicates that your answer was not received or your instructor has not started polling. NOTE: This i>clicker remote can be used for polling questions that requires A-E responses only. For questions that require alphanumeric responses, you must use the i>clicker2 remote. 1. Open the battery cover on the back of the remote. 2. Remove both batteries. 3. Replace the batteries with two new AAA batteries. NOTE: Alkaline batteries recommended. 4. Replace the battery cover.
