8ENCharging WarningsWARNING: Failure to comply with the following warnings could result in product malfunction, electrical issues, excessive heat, FIRE, and ultimately injury and property damage.•NEVER LEAVE CHARGING BATTERIES UNATTENDED.•NEVER CHARGE BATTERIES OVERNIGHT.•Never charge damaged batteries. If the battery begins to swell during charging or use, discontinue immediately.•Always use the included battery and charger. 9ENInstalling the Propellers1. Refer to the illustration for the proper motor rotation and propeller location.2. The propellers are press t onto the motor shafts. Remove the propellers by pulling the center hub straight up away from the motor.3. Install the propellers by pressing the center hub over the motor shaft, being careful not to press it too far down on the shaft. The propeller and motor should spin freely when installed correctly.ClockwiseCounter-Clockwise
10ENInstall the Flight Battery12Throttle down Power ON34CAUTION: Always disconnect the Li-Po battery from the aircraft when not ying to avoid over-discharging the battery. Batteries discharged to a voltage lower than the lowest approved voltage may become damaged, resulting in loss of performance and potential re when the batteries are charged.
11 ENTransmitter and Receiver BindingBNF Transmitter SetupIf you are using a computer transmitter, set the model type to “Acro” or “Airplane” mode. In the channel input menu, set channel 6 (Aux1) to a momentary switch such as the bind button ( I) and channel 5 (Gear) to a 3-position switch (switch B). In the Servo Setup menu, reverse channel 6 (Aux1). Bind the quadcopter to your transmitter following the Transmitter and Receiver Binding directions below.General Binding Procedure (BNF®)1. Disconnect the ight battery from the quadcopter.2. Set the model type in your transmitter settings to “Acro” mode.3. Center all trims on your transmitter.4. Power off the transmitter and fully lower the throttle.5. Connect the ight battery in the quadcopter. Aircraft LED’s will begin ashing slowly, turn aircraft upside down until LED ash rapidly indicating the Inductrix is in bind mode.6. Put the transmitter into bind mode while powering on the transmitter.7. Release the bind button/switch after 2–3 seconds. The quadcopter is bound when all of the LEDs on the aircraft turn solid.8. Disconnect the ight battery and power the transmitter off.

14ENFlight Mode SelectionCycle between the ight modes by changing the position of the ight mode switch as programmed in the binding section above. The active ight mode is indicated by the LED taillight on the quadcopter*.•Safe mode (blue LED, switch position 0): The bank angle is limited. When the sticks are released, the quadcopter will return to level ight.•Horizon Mode (magenta LED, switch position 1): Keeps the aircraft level when there are no inputs, but allows ips and rolls when the stick is at full deection.•AS3X mode (red LED, switch position 2): The quadcopter has no bank angle limits and will not return to level ght if the sticks are released. Use rates and expo to tune the performance according to your ying style.* The LED taillight only indicates the active ight mode continuously if the color mode of the LED has not been changed. See Changing the LED Taillight Color for more information.
15 ENThe LEDs indicate the front and back of the quadcopter. The white LEDs indicate the front. The red LEDs and tail light indicate the back.TakeoArm the motors by pressing the arming switch. Increase the throttle until the model is approximately 2 ft. (600mm) off the ground in a low-level hover and concentrate on balancing the throttle stick’s position so that the quadcopter holds a steady hover altitude. In some cases, you may need to make a few short “hops” to an altitude of just a few inches until you become familiar with the control inputs and trim settings required to maintain a steady hover and altitude. HoveringThe Inductrix® quadcopter requires minor throttle adjustments to maintain its altitude in hover. Remember to keep these throttle adjustments as minimal as possible. Large adjustments could result in a loss of control or a possible crash.While attempting to establish a low-level hover, check to see if any trim adjustments are required to keep the quadcopter from drifting in various directions. If you nd that it constantly drifts without any directional control input, land the model before making any adjustments to the trim settings.•If the nose of the quadcopter rotates to the left or right, adjust the rudder trim in the opposite direction.Fly the Quadcopter
16EN•If the quadcopter continually drifts forward or backward, adjust the elevator trim in the opposite direction.•If the quadcopter continually drifts to the left or right, adjust the aileron trim in the opposite direction.Continue making minor trim adjustments until the machine hovers at a low altitude with very little drifting and directional control input. If this is your rst multicopter or helicopter, seek the help of an experienced pilot to trim the model for you before making your rst ight.With your quadcopter properly trimmed and maintaining a stable low-level hover, practice using the rudder, elevator and aileron controls to familiarize yourself with the machine’s responses to control inputs. Remember to keep the control inputs as minimal as possible.Average ight times are 3-4 minutes.LandingTo land the quadcopter, establish a low level hover. Slowly lower the throttle until the quadcopter touches down.After landing, press the arming button to disarm the motors.Unplug and remove the ight battery.To prevent excessive wear to the motors, always allow the motors to cool between ights.NOTICE: Crash damage is not covered under warranty.
17 ENLow Voltage Cuto (LVC)Once the battery reaches 3V under load, the ESC will continuously lower power supplied to the motor until complete shutdown occurs. This helps prevent over-discharge of the Li-Po battery. Land immediately once the ESC activates LVC. Continuing to y after LVC can damage the battery, cause a crash or both. Crash damage and batteries damaged due to over-discharge are not covered under warranty.Repeatedly ying the aircraft until LVC activates will damage the ight battery. Disconnect and remove the Li-Po battery from the aircraft after use to prevent trickle discharge. During storage, make sure the battery charge does not fall below 3V per cell. Battery Level IndicatorWhen rst powered on, the quadcopter indicates the charge level of the ight battery by lighting the center LED taillight briey.Taillight Color Battery Charge LevelGreen fully chargedYellow partially chargedRed discharged, do not yAfter the ight battery charge level is shown, the LED taillight indicates the active ight mode or the alternate chosen color as described in the Changing the Center LED Taillight Color section.
18ENChanging the Center LED Taillight Color To change the color of the center LED taillight:1. Power on the transmitter.2. Power on the quadcopter. DO NOT arm the motors.3. Push both transmitter sticks fully forward and hold for 3 seconds. The taillight on the quadcopter will ash continuously.4. Push the aileron stick right or left to choose the desired taillight color.5. Pull both transmitter sticks fully back and hold for 1 second to save the desired color. The taillight will now display the chosen color continuously. It will show the active ight mode for approximately 1second after changing ight modes.To reset the taillight to the default flight mode indicator color mode:1. Power on the transmitter.2. Power on the quadcopter. DO NOT arm the motors.3. Pull both transmitter sticks fully backward and hold for 5 seconds. The taillight will change color to the active ight mode.NOTICE: Consult local laws and ordinances before operating FPV (rst person view) equipment. The OSD delivers the pilot useful information on the video display. The OSD shows the Flight Mode, time aloft, and voltage. A call sign is also available on the OSD to display your HAM call sign to satisfy amateur radio rules.The video transmitter frequency and power output can be set directly from compatible Spektrum transmitters or set in the OSD menu.OSD MenuThe OSD has a menu system which has options where the pilot can make changes. 1. To enter the menu the motor must be disarmed. 2. Flip the ight mode switch back and forth twice to enter the menu. 3. To navigate the menu use elevator stick to move up and down through the menu, and aileron stick to move side to side through the menu.

44DEBinden von Sender und EmpfängerEinrichten des BNF-SendersWird ein Computersender verwendet, den Modelltyp auf den Modus „Acro“ oder „Fluggerät“ einrichten. Im Kanal-Eingabemenü Kanal 6 (Aux1) als Taster wie einen Bindungsschalter (I) und Kanal 5 (Getriebe) als einen Dreistellungsschalter (Schalter B) einrichten. Im Servo-Einrichtungsmenü Kanal 6 (Aux1) umkehren.Den Quadcopter an den Sender unter Beachtung der nachfolgenden Anweisungen zum Binden von Sender und Empfänger binden.Allgemeine Vorgehensweise zum Binden (BNF®)1. 47 DEAuswahl des FlugmodusZwischen den Flugmodi wechseln, indem die Position des Flugmodus-schalters laut der Programmierung im vorstehenden Abschnitt zum Binden geändert wird. Der aktive Flugmodus wird durch die LED-Heckleuchte auf dem Quadcopter* angezeigt.•Safe-Modus (blaue LED, Schalterposition 0): Die Schräglage ist begrenzt. Die Gaszufuhr erhöhen, bis das Modell etwa 600mm (2 Fuß) über dem Boden schwebt, und auf das Balancieren der Gashebel-Position konzentrieren, sodass der Quadcopter eine stabile Höhe beim Schweben hält. In einigen Fällen müssen einige kleine „Sprünge“ auf eine Höhe von ein paar Zentimetern durchgeführt werden, bis man mit den für ein stabiles Schweben und einer stabilen Höhe erforderlichen Steuereingaben und Trimmungseinstellungen vertraut ist. SchwebenDer Inductrix-Quadcopter erfordert kleine Gasanpassungen, um seine Höhe beim Schweben aufrechtzuerhalten. Daran denken, diese Gasanpassungen so klein wie möglich zu halten. Große Anpassungen können einen Kontrollverlust oder einen möglichen Absturz verursachen.Beim Versuch, einen niedrigen Schwebeug aufzubauen, prüfen, ob Trim-mungsanpassungen erforderlich sind, um den Quadcopter davon abzuhalten, in verschiedene Richtungen abzudriften. 50DENiedrigtrennspannung (LVC)Die ESC versorgt den Motor durchgehend mit weniger Leistung, bis dieser sich voll-ständig abschaltet, wenn der Akku unter Last unter 9 V entladen wird. Dadurch wird eine Tiefentladung des LiPo-Akkus vermieden. Wenn die ESC die LVC aktiviert, setzen Sie sofort zur Landung an. Wenn Sie das Fluggerät dennoch weiteriegen, kann dies zu Akkuschaden, Absturz oder beidem führen. Absturzschäden und Akkuschäden, die durch eine Tiefentladung bedingt sind, werden von der Garantie nicht abgedeckt.Durch wiederholtes Fliegen des Helikopters bis zur LVC-Aktivierung wird der Akku des Helikopters beschädigt. Entfernen Sie den LiPo-Akku nach Gebrauch aus dem Fluggerät, um eine allmähliche Entladung zu verhindern. Dans le menu de saisie de canal, réglez le canal 6 (Aux1) sur un commutateur momentané comme le bouton d’affectation (I) et le canal 5 (Vitesse) sur un commutateur à 3 positions (commutateur B). Dans le menu de paramétrage des servos, inversez le canal 6 (Aux1).Affectez le quadricoptère à votre émetteur en suivant les consignes d’affectation de l’émetteur et du récepteur ci-dessous.Procédure d’aectation générale (BNF)1. 108ITConnessione trasmittente/riceventeImpostazione trasmittente BNFSe si utilizza una trasmittente computerizzata, impostare il tipo di modello su “Acro” o “Airplane”. Nel menu channel input (canali in ingresso), assegnare il canale 6 (Aux 1) a un interruttore a pulsante, ad esempio il pulsante BIND (connessione) (I), e il canale 5 (Gear) a un interruttore a 3 posizioni (interruttore B). Nel menu Servo Setup (Imposta servi), invertire il canale 6 (Aux 1).Collegare il quadricottero alla trasmittente seguendo le istruzioni per la connessione trasmittente-ricevente sottostanti.Procedura di binding (connessione) generale (BNF)1. Scollegare la batteria di volo dal quadricottero.2. Selezionare la modalità "Acro" nelle impostazioni della trasmittente.3. Centrare tutti i trim sulla trasmittente.4. Spegnere la trasmittente e abbassare completamente il comando motore.5. Collegare la batteria di volo al quadricottero. I LED del velivolo inizieranno a lampeggiare lentamente. La modalità di volo attiva è indicata dalla luce posteriore LED del quadricottero*.•Modalità SAFE (LED blu, posizione interruttore 0): l’angolo d’inclinazione è limitato. Quando vengono rilasciati gli stick, il quadricottero tornerà a volare a livello.•Modalità Horizon (orizzonte) (LED magenta, posizione interruttore 1): mantiene il velivolo a livello in assenza di input, ma consente ip e rollii quando lo stick è alla massima inclinazione.•Modalità AS3X (LED rosso, posizione interruttore 2): l’angolo d’inclinazione del quadricottero non viene limitato e non tornerà a volare a livello rilasciando gli stick. 112ITI LED distinguono la parte anteriore del quadricottero da quella posteriore. I LED bianchi indicano la parte anteriore. I LED rossi e la luce di coda indicano la parte posteriore.DecolloAttivare i motori premendo l’interruttore di attivazione. Aumentare la potenza nché il modello non raggiunge una quota di circa 600 mm (2 piedi) in volo stazionario a bassa quota e concentrarsi sul bilanciamento dello stick del mo-tore in modo che il quadricottero si mantenga a un’altitudine costante in volo stazionario. In alcuni casi, sarà necessario effettuare dei piccoli “balzi” a una quota di pochi centimetri nché non si prende dimestichezza con i comandi e le impostazioni dei trim per mantenere quota e un volo stazionario. Volo stazionarioIl quadricottero Inductrix® necessita di piccole regolazioni del comando motore per mantenere la quota in volo stazionario. Ricordare di effettuare soltanto regolazioni minime. Regolazioni più ampie potrebbero causare la perdita di controllo dell’aeromodello o un impatto.Mentre si cerca di raggiungere un volo stazionario a bassa quota, controllare l’even-tuale necessità di piccole regolazioni ai trim per evitare che il quadricottero sbandi in varie direzioni. Se il modello sbanda senza alcun comando dai controlli direzionali, atterrare prima di effettuare qualsiasi regolazione alle impostazioni dei trim.•Se il muso del quadricottero vira verso destra o verso sinistra, regolare il trim del timone nella direzione opposta.Far volare il quadricottero
113 IT•Se il quadricottero continua a sbandare in avanti o indietro, regolare il trim dell’elevatore nella direzione opposta.•Se il quadricottero continua a sbandare verso destra o verso sinistra, regolare il trim dell’alettone nella direzione opposta.Continuare ad apportare piccole regolazioni ai trim nché il modello non rag-giunge il volo stazionario a bassa quota con sbandate e comandi dai controlli direzionali minimi. Se è il primo multicottero o elicottero, chiedere aiuto a un pilota esperto per regolare il modello prima di effettuare il primo volo.Con il quadricottero adeguatamente regolato e mantenendo un volo stazio-nario a bassa quota, allenarsi a usare i comandi del timone, dell’elevatore e dell’alettone per famigliarizzare con le risposte del modello. Ricordare di agire sui comandi il meno possibile.Il tempo di volo medio è 3-4 minuti.AtterraggioPer fare atterrare il quadricottero, portarlo in volo stazionario a bassa quota. 114ITSpegnimento per bassa tensione (LVC)Il controllo elettronico di velocità continuerà ad abbassare la corrente erogata al motore no allo spegnimento completo quando la batteria raggiunge i3Vsotto carico. Questo fa si che si possa evitare una scarica eccessiva della batteria Li-Po. Effettuare immediatamente l’atterraggio quando il regolatore di velocità attiva il taglio di bassa tensione (LVC). Continuare afar volare il modello dopo che ha raggiunto il taglio di bassa tensione (LVC) può danneggiare la batteria, causare lo schianto del velivolo oentrambe le cose. Idanni della batteria oquelli dovuti allo schianto in seguito auno scaricamento eccessivo non sono coperti dalla garanzia.Far volare l’elicottero no all’attivazione del taglio di bassa tensione (LVC) danneggia la batteria dell’elicottero. 115 ITCambiare il colore della luce posteriore LED centrale Dopo avere segnalato il livello di carica della batteria, la luce posteriore LED indica la modalità di volo attiva o il colore alternativo prescelto come descritto nella sezione Cambiare il colore della luce posteriore LED centrale.Per modificare il colore della luce posteriore LED centrale:1. Accendere la trasmittente.2. Accendere il quadricottero. NON attivare i motori.3. Spingere completamente in avanti gli stick della trasmittente tenendoli premuti per 3 secondi. La luce posteriore del quadricottero continuerà a lampeggiare.4. Spostare lo stick dell'alettone a destra o a sinistra per selezionare il colore della luce posteriore desiderato.5. Tirare indietro entrambi gli stick della trasmittente e tenerli premuti per 1 secondo per memorizzare il colore desiderato. Ora la luce posteriore avrà sempre il colore prescelto. Indicherà la modalità di volo attiva per circa 1 secondo dopo che si modica la modalità di volo.Per ripristinare l'impostazione di default della luce posteriore per l'indicazione della modalità di volo:1. Accendere la trasmittente.2. Accendere il quadricottero. NON attivare i motori.3. Tirare completamente verso di sé gli stick della trasmittente tenendoli premuti per 5 secondi. La luce posteriore assumerà il colore corrispondente alla modalità di volo attiva.

La visualizzazione OSD mette a disposizione anche un indicativo di chiamata.
