MEANING OF SPECIAL LANGUAGE

WARNING: Read the ENTIRE instruction manual to become

familiar with the features of the product before operating. Failure to

operate the product correctly can result in damage to the product,

This is a sophisticated hobby product. It must be operated with caution

and common sense and requires some basic mechanical ability. Failure

to operate this Product in a safe and responsible manner could result in

injury or damage to the product or other property. This product is not in-

tended for use by children without direct adult supervision. Do not attempt

disassembly, use with incompatible components or augment product in

any way without the approval of Horizon Hobby, Inc. This manual contains

instructions for safety, operation and maintenance. It is essential to

read and follow all the instructions and warnings in the manual, prior

to assembly, setup or use, in order to operate correctly and avoid

damage or serious injury.

NOTICE: This product is only intended for use with unmanned,

hobby-grade, remote-controlled vehicles and aircraft. Horizon Hobby

disclaims all liability outside of the intended purpose and will not

WATERPROOF COMPONENT

Your new Spektrum™ receiver has been designed and built to allow you

to operate your vehicle in many wet conditions, including puddles, creeks,

wet grass, snow and even rain.

While waterproof, this component has not been designed to be immersed in

water for long periods of time and should NOT be treated like a submarine.

In addition, most metal parts, including any screws and nuts, as well as the

contacts in the electrical cables, will be susceptible to corrosion if additional

maintenance is not performed after running in wet conditions.

To maximize the long-term performance of your receiver and to keep the

warranty intact, it should only be used as described in the “Usage Conditions”

section of this manual. Additionally, the procedures described in the “Wet

Conditions Maintenance” section must be performed regularly if you choose

to run in wet conditions. If you are not willing to perform the additional care

and maintenance required, then you should not operate your vehicle in those

conditions.

CAUTION: Failure to exercise caution while using this product and

comply with the following precautions could result in product malfunction

and/or void the warranty.

General Precautions

Read through the wet conditions maintenance procedures and make sure

that you have all the tools you will need to properly maintain your receiver.

Do not operate your receiver where it could come in contact with salt water

(ocean water or water on salt-covered roads), contaminated or polluted

water. Salt water is very conductive and highly corrosive, so use caution.

Usage Conditions

Your receiver will operate successfully in any of the following, individual-usage

scenarios:

• 2 hours continuous operation in dew-covered (damp) grass or vegetation.

• 2 hours continuous operation in heavy fog (95% humidity, saturated air,

condensing water).

• 1 hour continuous operation in light rain (< 0.10 in / 2.5mm per hour).

• 15 minutes continuous operation in heavy rain (> 0.30 in / 7.6mm per hour).

• 1 hour continuous operation in light sleet (< 0.10 in / 2.5mm per hour).

• 1 hour continuous operation in light snow (< 0.25 in / 6.35mm per hour).

• 45 minutes continuous operation in standing or running fresh water (the

water level should always remain below the vehicle frame), or constant

splashing water, without any immersion of waterproof component(s).

• 5 minutes continuous operation in standing or running fresh water (the water

level should never rise higher than 0.5 in (about 10 mm) above the vehicle

frame), constant splashing water, or frequent, intermittent immersion of

waterproof component(s).

• 1 hour continuous operation in damp sand, dirt, mud or snow (the material

level should always be below the vehicle frame), constant splatter without

any immersion or coverage of waterproof component(s).

Furthermore, when appropriate maintenance procedures (as described below)

are performed promptly following exposure, the receiver will remain best

protected from corrosion or other long-term, water-related damage.

Wet Conditions Maintenance

• Gently rinse the mud and dirt off the vehicle with a garden hose.

• Remove the battery pack(s) and dry the contacts.

• If you have an air compressor or a can of compressed air available,

blow off the receiver to help remove any water that may have gotten

into small crevices or corners. Dry any water that may be inside a

recessed connector housing.

• Let the receiver air dry before you store it. Water may continue to seep

or evaporate out of tight areas for a few hours.

NOTICE: Never use a pressure washer to clean your vehicle.

NOTICE: The receiver is waterproofed for use in wet conditions. Make sure

the other components in your vehicle are waterproof or water-resistant

before driving in wet conditions.

AVC – ACTIVE VEHICLE CONTROL

AVC™ technology is the newest Spektrum™ RC innovation from Horizon

Hobby. This Spektrum stabilization system adds a whole new level of control

to your RC driving experience. AVC technology utilizes sensors to adjust

steering and throttle output, providing you with a more stable and

controlled driving experience.

NOTICE: You must use digital servos with the SR4210 receiver.

Using analog servos will reduce the performance of the system

and may cause analog servos to overheat.

SRS4210 INSTRUCTION MANUAL

The Spektrum™ SRS4210 DSMR™ Surface receiver is

compatible with all Spektrum DSMR transmitters and is also

backwards compatible with DSM2® transmitters. The SRS4210

receiver is NOT compatible with DSM® transmitters. For a complete

Aux channels

The Aux channels can operate as additional servo channels, or as a

power supply for a personal transponder. If AVC is active, only two channels,

Steering and Throttle, are operational. The Aux channels can be used to

power a personal transponder or lights.

If AVC is disabled (see DISABLING THE STABILITY ASSIST FUNCTION

to disable AVC), the Aux channels will operate as servo channels.

Receiver Connection and Installation

You must install the receiver in the vehicle before binding the transmitter

and receiver. The receiver can be mounted ﬂat with the label up or on its

side. When you bind the receiver, the AVC system automatically detects the

orientation of the receiver. The receiver must be mounted completely ﬂat

when in the label-up orientation or completely perpendicular when

mounted on its side. If the receiver is angled even slightly,

AVC may not function properly. If the orientation of the

receiver is changed after binding, you must then

rebind for AVC to fuction properly.

Install the Receiver in your vehicle using the included double-sided foam

servo tape. Foam servo tape will hold the receiver in place and help isolate

it from vibrations.

IMPORTANT: Do not use hook & loop material to install the SRS4210 receiver.

Using hook & loop material will affect the performance of the AVC system.

Mount the antenna up and away from the vehicle in an antenna tube.

The higher up the antenna is, the better signal it will receive.

NOTICE: Do not cut or modify the antenna.

Failsafe

In the unlikely event that the radio link is lost during use, the receiver will drive

the throttle channel to the neutral position. If the receiver is powered on prior

to turning on the transmitter, the receiver will enter the failsafe mode, driving

the throttle channel to the neutral position. When the transmitter is turned on,

normal control is resumed.

IMPORTANT: Failsafe activates only in the event that signal is lost from the

transmitter. Failsafe will NOT activate in the event that receiver battery power

decreases below the recommended minimums or power to the receiver is lost.

IMPORTANT: If you adjust the steering and throttle trim on your transmitter,

the receiver must be turned off and back on again in order to save the new

trim settings. Otherwise, AVC will not function properly.

Binding Receiver to Transmitter

In order to operate, the receiver must be bound to the transmitter. Binding

is the process of programming the receiver to recognize the GUID (Globally

Unique Identiﬁer) code of a single speciﬁc transmitter. When areceiver is

bound to atransmitter/model memory, the receiver will only respond to

that speciﬁc transmitter/model memory.

Binding and Calibrating the Receiver

You must calibrate the receiver each time it is placed in bind mode.

IMPORTANT: The following sequence of steps must be followed in order

for AVC to function properly.

1. Insert the Bind Plug in the BIND port on the receiver.

2. Power on the receiver. The orange LED ﬂashes, indicating the receiver

is in bind mode.

3. Center the ST TRIM and TH TRIM on the transmitter.

4. Put your transmitter in bind mode.

5. The bind process is complete when the orange LED on the receiver

is solid.

6. Pull the transmitter trigger to Full Throttle.

7. Push the transmitter trigger to Full Brake, then return the trigger to center.

8. Turn the transmitter steering wheel to Full Right.

9. Turn the transmitter steering wheel to Full Left, then return the steering

wheel to center. The orange LED ﬂashes once.

10. Remove the bind plug once the calibration and binding process

is complete.

11. Power off the transmitter.

IMPORTANT: You must rebind the transmitter and receiver if you:

• Change the servo reverse after binding

• Change the travel after binding

• Want to use the receiver with a different model memory

If you change the servo reversing or travel adjust after binding, AVC will not

work properly.

Disabling the Stability Assist Function

If you participate in organized racing, you may be required to turn AVC

technology off. To turn off AVC technology, insert a second Bind Plug

in the Disable port before binding.

IMPORTANT: You must calibrate the receiver each time it is placed in

bind mode. To activate AVC, see the steps in BINDING AND CALIBRATING

THE RECEIVER.

1-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

What this Warranty Covers

Horizon Hobby, Inc., (Horizon) warrants to the original purchaser that the

product purchased (the “Product”) will be free from defects in materials and

workmanship for a period of 1 years from the date of purchase.

What is Not Covered

This warranty is not transferable and does not cover (i) cosmetic damage, (ii)

damage due to acts of God, accident, misuse, abuse, negligence, commercial

use, or due to improper use, installation, operation or maintenance, (iii)

modiﬁcation of or to any part of the Product, (iv) attempted service by

anyone other than a Horizon Hobby authorized service center, (v) Product not

purchased from an authorized Horizon dealer, or (vi) Product not compliant with

applicable technical regulations.

OTHER THAN THE EXPRESS WARRANTY ABOVE, HORIZON MAKES NO OTHER

WARRANTY OR REPRESENTATION, AND HEREBY DISCLAIMS ANY AND ALL

IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, THE IMPLIED

WARRANTIES OF NON-INFRINGEMENT, MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR

A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. THE PURCHASER ACKNOWLEDGES THAT THEY

ALONE HAVE DETERMINED THAT THE PRODUCT WILL SUITABLY MEET THE

REQUIREMENTS OF THE PURCHASER’S INTENDED USE.

Purchaser’s Remedy

Horizon’s sole obligation and purchaser’s sole and exclusive remedy shall be

that Horizon will, at its option, either (i) service, or (ii) replace, any Product

determined by Horizon to be defective. Horizon reserves the right to inspect

any and all Product(s) involved in a warranty claim. Service or replacement

decisions are at the sole discretion of Horizon. Proof of purchase is required for

all warranty claims. SERVICE OR REPLACEMENT AS PROVIDED UNDER THIS

WARRANTY IS THE PURCHASER’S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY.

Limitation of Liability

HORIZON SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL

OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, LOSS OF PROFITS OR PRODUCTION OR

COMMERCIAL LOSS IN ANY WAY, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER SUCH CLAIM IS

BASED IN CONTRACT, WARRANTY, TORT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY OR

ANY OTHER THEORY OF LIABILITY, EVEN IF HORIZON HAS BEEN ADVISED OF

THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. Further, in no event shall the liability of

Horizon exceed the individual price of the Product on which liability is asserted.

As Horizon has no control over use, setup, ﬁnal assembly, modiﬁcation or

misuse, no liability shall be assumed nor accepted for any resulting damage

or injury. By the act of use, setup or assembly, the user accepts all resulting

liability. If you as the purchaser or user are not prepared to accept the liability

associated with the use of the Product, purchaser is advised to return the

Product immediately in new and unused condition to the place of purchase.

Law

These terms are governed by Illinois law (without regard to conﬂict of law

principals).This warranty gives you speciﬁc legal rights, and you may also

have other rights which vary from state to state. Horizon reserves the

right to change or modify this warranty at any time without notice.

WARRANTY SERVICES

Questions, Assistance, and Services

Your local hobby store and/or place of purchase cannot provide warranty

support or service. Once assembly, setup or use of the Product has been

started, you must contact your local distributor or Horizon directly. This will

enable Horizon to better answer your questions and service you in the event

that you may need any assistance. For questions or assistance, please visit our

website at www.horizonhobby.com, submit a Product Support Inquiry, or call

the toll free telephone number referenced in the Warranty and Service Contact

Information section to speak with a Product Support representative.

Inspection or Services

If this Product needs to be inspected or serviced and is compliant in the

country you live and use the Product in, please use the Horizon Online Service

Request submission process found on our website or call Horizon to obtain a

Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Pack the Product securely

using a shipping carton. Please note that original boxes may be included,

but are not designed to withstand the rigors of shipping without additional

protection. Ship via a carrier that provides tracking and insurance for lost or

damaged parcels, as Horizon is not responsible for merchandise until it arrives

and is accepted at our facility. An Online Service Request is available at http://

www.horizonhobby.com/content/service-center_render-service-center. If you

do not have internet access, please contact Horizon Product Support to obtain

a RMA number along with instructions for submitting your product for service.

When calling Horizon, you will be asked to provide your complete name, street

address, email address and phone number where you can be reached during

business hours. When sending product into Horizon, please include your RMA

number, a list of the included items, and a brief summary of the problem. A

copy of your original sales receipt must be included for warranty consideration.

Be sure your name, address, and RMA number are clearly written on the

outside of the shipping carton.

NOTICE: Do not ship LiPo batteries to Horizon. If you have any

issue with a LiPo battery, please contact the appropriate Horizon

Product Support ofﬁce.

Warranty Requirements

For Warranty consideration, you must include your original sales

receipt verifying the proof-of-purchase date. Provided warranty

conditions have been met, your Product will be serviced or replaced free of

charge. Service or replacement decisions are at the sole discretion of Horizon.

Non-Warranty Service

Should your service not be covered by warranty, service will be

completed and payment will be required without notiﬁcation or

estimate of the expense unless the expense exceeds 50% of the

retail purchase cost. By submitting the item for service you are agreeing

to payment of the service without notiﬁcation. Service estimates are available

upon request. You must include this request with your item submitted for

service. Non-warranty service estimates will be billed a minimum of

½ hour of labor. In addition you will be billed for return freight. Horizon accepts

money orders and cashier’s checks, as well as Visa, MasterCard, American

Express, and Discover cards. By submitting any item to Horizon for service, you

are agreeing to Horizon’s Terms and Conditions found on our website http://

www.horizonhobby.com/content/service-center_render-service-center.

ATTENTION: Horizon service is limited to Product compliant in the

country of use and ownership. If received, a non-compliant Product

will not be serviced. Further, the sender will be responsible for

arranging return shipment of the un-serviced Product, through a

carrier of the sender’s choice and at the sender’s expense. Horizon

will hold non-compliant Product for a period of 60 days from

notiﬁcation, after which it will be discarded.

Instructions for disposal of WEEE by users in the European Union

WASSERFESTE KOMPONENTE

Ihr neuer Spektrum Empfänger wurde entwickelt und gebaut um den Betrieb

in feuchten Umgebungen inklusive Pfützen, Bächen, nassem Gras, Schnee

oder sogar Regen ermöglichen.

Bitte beachten Sie, dass auch wenn die Komponente wasserfest ist, diese

NICHT dafür geeignet ist, längere Zeit unter Wasser getaucht zu werden.

Zudem sind die elektrischen Kabel sowie auch die meisten Metallteile, inkl.

Schrauben und Muttern, korrosionsanfällig, wenn nach dem Betrieb in nasser

Umgebung keine zusätzliche Wartung durchgeführt wird.

Für die Maximierung der Langzeitleistung und den Erhalt der Garantie Ihres

Empfängers, sollten Sie dieses nur entsprechend der „Nutzungsbedingungen“

einsetzen. Wenn Sie in feuchten Umgebungen fahren, sollten Sie außerdem

regelmäßig die Wartung, wie in der Wartungsanleitung unter „Nach Einsatz

in nasser Umgebung“ beschrieben, durchführen. Wenn Sie diese zusätzliche

Wartung nicht ausführen möchten, dann sollten Sie das Produkt auch nicht

unter diesen Bedingungen betreiben.

und in Zusammenhang mit den folgenden Sicherheitshinweisen

kann zu Fehlfunktionen und dem Verlust der Garantie führen.

Allgemeine Sicherheitshinweise

Bitte lesen Sie sich die Wartungsanleitung für den Einsatz in nasser

Umgebung sorgfältig durch und stellen Sie sicher, dass Sie alle Werkzeuge

für eine Wartung des Servos zur Verfügung haben.

Betreiben Sie Ihr Servo nicht dort, wo es in Kontakt mit Salzwasser

(Meerwasser oder mit Salz bedeckten Straßen) oder mit schmutzigem

oder belastetem Wasser kommen kann. Salzwasser ist stark leitend

und korrosionsfördernd, seien Sie daher bitte sehr achtsam.

Nutzungsbedingungen

Ihr Empfänger kann erfolgreich unter folgenden Bedingungen in einem

der folgenden Szenarios eingesetzt werden:

• 2 Stunden unterbrochener Betrieb in taubedeckten Gras oder Vegetation.

• 2 Stunden Dauerbetrieb in dichtem Nebel (95% Luftfeuchtigkeit, gesättigte

Luft, Kondenswasser).

• 1 Stunde Dauerbetrieb in leichtem Regen (<2,5mm per Stunde).

HINWEIS: Dieses Produkt ist ausschließlich für die Verwendung

inunbemanten, ferngesteuerten Fahrzeugen und Fluggeräten im

Hobbybereich vorgese-hen. Horizon Hobby lehnt jede Haftung

• 15 Minuten Dauerbetrieb in starkem Regen (>7,6mm per Stunde).

• 1 Stunde Dauerbetrieb in leichtem Graupel (<2,5mm per Stunde).

• 1 Stunde Dauerbetrieb bei leichtem Schneefall (<6,35mm per Stunde).

• 45 Minuten Dauerbetrieb in Süßwasser (die Wasserhöhe darf dabei nicht

die untere Chassiskante übersteigen oder bei kontinuierlichem Kontakt mit

Spritzwasser, jedoch ohne Eintauchen der wasserdichten Komponenten.

• 5 Minuten Dauerbetrieb in Süßwasser (die Wasserhöhe darf die untere

Chassiskante um max. 10mm übersteigen), bei kontinuierlichem Kontakt

mit Spritzwasser oder bei ständigem kurzen Eintauchen der wasserdichten

Komponenten.

• 1 Stunde unterbrochener Betrieb in Sand, Matsch oder Schnee (die untere

Rumpfkante sollte nicht durch den Untergrund überdeckt werden), bei Kontakt

mit Spritzwasser, jedoch ohne Eintauchen der wasserfesten Komponenten.

Führen Sie im Anschluss unverzüglich die beschriebenen Wartungsmaßnah-

men durch und das Servo ist bestens gegen Korrosion und andere langfristige

Wasserschäden geschützt.

Wartung nach Fahrten in nasser Umgebung

• Nehmen Sie die Akkus aus dem Fahrzeug heraus und trocknen die Kontakte.

• Entfernen Sie mit einem Gartenschlauch vorsichtig Dreck und Schmutz von

Ihrem Fahrzeug.

• Sollten Sie einen Kompressor oder Druckluft zur Hand haben, blasen

Sie die Innenräume, Ritzen und Spalten des Fahrzeuges aus. Trocknen

Sie alle Anschlüsse und Stecker sorgfältig.

• Lassen Sie das Fahrzeug an der Luft trocknen bevor Sie ihn einlagern.

Wasser kann für einige Stunden aus dem Fahrzeug heraus tropfen.

HINWEIS: Verwenden Sie für die Reinigung Ihres Fahrzeuges NIEMALS

einen Hochdruckreiniger.

HINWEIS: Der Empfänger ist wasserfest für den Einsatz in nasser

Umgebung. Stellen Sie sicher, dass andere Komponenten in Ihrem

Fahrzeug wasserdicht oder wassergeschützt sind, bevor Sie in

nasser Umgebung fahren.

AVC – ACTIVE VEHICLE CONTROL

Die AVC Technologie ist die neueste Spektrum RC Innovation von Horizon

Hobby. Dieses Spektrum Stabilisierungssystem ermöglich ein vollkommen

neues Level der Fahrzeugbeherrschung. Die AVC Technologie nutzt dazu

Sensoren die Gas und Lenkung beeinﬂussen und für ein erheblich stabileres

und kontrolliertes Fahrerlebnis sorgen.

HINWEIS: Sie müssen mit dem SR4210 Empfänger Digitalservos

verwenden. Analoge Servos reduzieren die Systemleistung und

könnten überhitzen.

Empfängereinbau und Anschlüsse

Der Empfänger muß in das Fahrzeug eingebaut werden bevor er an den

Sender gebunden wird. Der Empfänger kann ﬂach mit dem Etikett nach

oben oder auf der Seite eingebaut werden. Bei dem Binden erkennt

das AVC System die Empfängerausrichtung automatisch. Sollte

der Empfänger nicht richtig montiert oder etwas gekippt

sein ist es möglich, dass das AVC System nicht

einwandfrei funktioniert.

Montieren Sie den Empfänger in ihrem Fahrzeug mit dem doppelseitigem

Klebeband. Das Schaumtape hält den Empfänger in Position und sichert

ihn vor Vibrationen.

WICHTIG: Verwenden Sie zur Montage des SRS4210 Empfänger kein

Klettband, da dieses die Leistung des AVC Systems beeinﬂusst.

Schieben Sie die Antenne in ein Antennenröhrchen und stellen dieses aufrecht.

Je höher die Antenne steht, desto besser wird sie das Signal empfangen.

HINWEIS: Kürzen oder modiﬁzieren sich nicht die Antenne.

Failsafe

In den unwahrscheinlichen Fall eines Verbindungsverlustes fährt der Empfän-

ger den Gaskanal in die Neutralposition. Sollte der Empfänger vor dem Sender

eingeschaltet worden sein, geht der Empfänger in den Failsafemode und fährt

den Gaskanal auf die Neutralposition. Wird der Sender eingeschaltet besteht

wieder normale Kontrolle.

WICHTIG: Die Failsafefunktion wird nur bei Signalverlust aktiv. Sie wird NICHT

aktiv wenn die Spannung des Empfängerakkus unter die zulässige Grenze

sinkt oder der Akku ausfällt.

WICHTIG: Nach Einstellen der Lenk- und Gastrimmung auf ihrem Sender

muss der Empfänger aus und wieder eingeschaltet werden, damit die

Trimmeinstellungen gespeichert werden. Bitte beachten Sie, dass

das AVC System sonst nicht richtig funktioniert.

Binden des Empfängers an den Sender

Für den Betrieb muß der Empfänger an den Sender gebunden werden. Binden

ist der Prozess der Programmierung des Empfängers mit dem eindeutigen

Signal eines speziﬁschen Senders (GUID) ist der Empfänger an den Sender

gebunden wird nur er auf die Signale des Senders reagieren.

Binden und Kalibrieren des Empfängers

Der Empfänger muss bei jedem Bindevorgang kalibriert werden.

WICHTIG: Die folgenden Schritte müssen in der beschriebenen Reihenfolge

durchgeführt werden, damit das AVC System korrekt funktioniert.

1. Stecken Sie den Bindestecker in den Bindeport des Empfängers.

2. Schalten Sie den Empfänger ein. Die orange LED blinkt und zeigt

damit an, dass der Empfänger im Bindemode ist.

3. Zentrieren Sie die Gas- und Lenktrimmung auf dem Empfänger.

4. Aktivieren Sie den Bindevorgang im Sender.

5. Der Bindevorgang ist erfolgt wenn die orange LED auf dem

Empfänger leuchtet.

6. Geben Sie am Sender Vollgas.

7. Drücken Sie den Gashebel auf Vollbremsung und dann zurück auf Mitte.

8. Drehen Sie das Lenkrad ganz nach rechts.

9. Drehen Sie das Lenkrad ganz nach links und und dann zurück in die Mitte.

Die orange LED blinkt einmal.

10. Entfernen Sie den Bindestecker nach erfolgtem Kalibrierungs-

und Bindevorgang.

11. Schalten Sie den Sender aus.

WICHTIG: Sie müssen den den Sender und Empfänger neu binden wenn:

• Sie die Servolaufrichtunng (Servoreverse) nach dem Binden ändern

• Den Servoweg nach dem Binden ändern

• Den Empfänger mit einem anderem Modellspeicher nutzen wollen

Ändern Sie Servoreverse oder den Weg (Servotravel) nach dem Binden

wird das AVC System nicht korrekt funktionieren.

Deaktivieren der Stabilitäts-Assistenzfunktion

Wenn sie an organisierten Rennen teilnehmen kann es notwendig sein die

AVC Technologie auszuschalten. Um diese zu deaktivieren stecken Sie vor

dem Binden einen zweiten Bindestecker in den Deaktivierungsport (Disable).

WICHTIG: Der Empfänger muß bei jedem Bindevorgang kalibriert werden. Um

das AVC wieder zu kalibrieren lesen Sie bitte unter BINDEN UND KALIBRIEREN

DES EMPFÄNGERS nach.

GARANTIE UND SERVICE INFORMATIONEN

Garantiezeitraum

Exklusive Garantie Horizon Hobby Inc (Horizon) garantiert, dass das gekaufte

Produkt frei von Material- und Montagefehlern ist. Der Garantiezeitraum

entspricht den gesetzlichen Bestimmung des Landes, in dem das Produkt

erworben wurde. In Deutschland beträgt der Garantiezeitraum 6 Monate

und der Gewährleistungszeitraum 18 Monate nach dem Garantiezeitraum.

Einschränkungen der Garantie

(a) Die Garantie wird nur dem Erstkäufer (Käufer) gewährt und kann nicht

übertragen werden. Der Anspruch des Käufers besteht in der Reparatur

oder dem Tausch im Rahmen dieser Garantie. Die Garantie erstreckt sich

ausschließlich auf Produkte, die bei einem autorisierten Horizon Händler

erworben wurden. Verkäufe an dritte werden von dieser Garantie nicht

gedeckt. Garantieansprüche werden nur angenommen, wenn ein gültiger

Kaufnachweis erbracht wird. Horizon behält sich das Recht vor, diese

Garantiebestimmungen ohne Ankündigung zu ändern oder modiﬁzieren

und widerruft dann bestehende Garantiebestimmungen.

(b) Horizon übernimmt keine Garantie für die Verkaufbarkeit des Produktes,

Schadensbeschränkung

Horizon ist nicht für direkte oder indirekte Folgeschäden, Einkommensausfälle

oder kommerzielle Verluste, die in irgendeinem Zusammenhang mit dem

Produkt stehen verantwortlich, unabhängig ab ein Anspruch im Zusam-

menhang mit einem Vertrag, der Garantie oder der Gewährleistung erhoben

werden. Horizon wird darüber hinaus keine Ansprüche aus einem Garantiefall

akzeptieren, die über den individuellen Wert des Produktes hinaus gehen.

Horizon hat keinen Einﬂuss auf den Einbau, die Verwendung oder die Wartung

des Produktes oder etwaiger Produktkombinationen, die vom Käufer gewählt

tiereparaturen. Deshalb kontaktieren Sie in einem solchen Fall den Händler,

der sich mit Horizon kurz schließen wird, um eine sachgerechte Entscheidung

zu fällen, die Ihnen schnellst möglich hilft.

Wartung und Reparatur

Muss Ihr Produkt gewartet oder repariert werden, wenden Sie sich entweder

an Ihren Fachhändler oder direkt an Horizon. Rücksendungen/Reparaturen

werden nur mit einer von Horizon vergebenen RMA Nummer bearbeitet. Diese

Nummer erhalten Sie oder ihr Fachhändler vom technischen Service. Mehr

oder telefonisch bei dem technischen Service von Horizon.

Packen Sie das Produkt sorgfältig ein. Beachten Sie, dass der Originalkarton

in der Regel nicht ausreicht, um beim Versand nicht beschädigt zu werden.

Verwenden Sie einen Paketdienstleister mit einer Tracking Funktion und Ver-

sicherung, da Horizon bis zur Annahme keine Verantwortung für den Versand

des Produktes übernimmt. Bitte legen Sie dem Produkt einen Kaufbeleg bei,

sowie eine ausführliche Fehlerbeschreibung und eine Liste aller eingesendeten

Einzelkomponenten. Weiterhin benötigen wir die vollständige Adresse, eine

Telefonnummer für Rückfragen, sowie eine Email Adresse.

Garantie und Reparaturen

Garantieanfragen werden nur bearbeitet, wenn ein Originalkaufbeleg von einem

autorisierten Fachhändler beiliegt, aus dem der Käufer und das Kaufdatum

hervorgeht. Sollte sich ein Garantiefall bestätigen wird das Produkt repariert

oder ersetzt. Diese Entscheidung obliegt einzig Horizon Hobby.

Kostenpﬂichtige Reparaturen

Liegt eine kostenpﬂichtige Reparatur vor, erstellen wir einen Kostenvoran-

schlag, den wir Ihrem Händler übermitteln. Die Reparatur wird erst vorgenom-

men, wenn wir die Freigabe des Händlers erhalten. Der Preis für die Reparatur

ist bei Ihrem Händler zu entrichten. Bei kostenpﬂichtigen Reparaturen werden

mindestens 30 Minuten Werkstattzeit und die Rückversandkosten in Rechnung

gestellt. Sollten wir nach 90 Tagen keine Einverständniserklärung zur Reparatur

vorliegen haben, behalten wir uns vor, das Produkt zu vernichten oder ander-

weitig zu verwerten.

ACHTUNG: Kostenpﬂichtige Reparaturen nehmen wir nur für

Elektronik und Motoren vor. Mechanische Reparaturen, besonders bei

Hubschraubern und RC-Cars sind extrem aufwendig und müssen

deshalb vom Käufer selbst vorgenommen werden.

Votre nouveau Récepteur Spektrum a été conçu et fabriqué pour vous permettre

de l’utiliser dans différentes conditions humides, incluant les ﬂaques d’eau, les

ruisseaux, l’herbe humide, la neige et même la pluie.

Bien que le produit est étanche, il n’a pas été conçu pour être immergé durant de

longues périodes et ne doit PAS être utilisé comme un sous-marin. De plus les

éléments métalliques comme les vis et les écrous ainsi que les contacts des prises

des câbles électriques sont exposés à l’oxydation si vous n’effectuez un entretien

supplémentaire après avoir utilisé le produit dans des conditions humides.

Pour conserver à long terme les performances de votre récepteur et conserver

la garantie, les procédures décrites dans la section «Maintenance en conditions

humides» doivent être régulièrement effectuées si vous roulez dans des conditions

humides. Si vous ne souhaitez pas effectuer la maintenance supplémentaire

requise, vous ne devez pas utiliser le véhicule dans ces conditions.

ATTENTION: Un défaut de soin durant l’utilisation et un non-respect

des consignes suivantes peut entraîner un dysfonctionnement du produit et/ou

annuler la garantie.

Précautions générales

Lisez avec attention les procédures de maintenance en conditions humides

et vériﬁez que vous possédez tous les outils nécessaires pour effectuer la

maintenance de votre récepteur.

NE JAMAIS utiliser votre récepteur où il pourrait entrer en contact avec de l’eau

salée (Eau de mer ou ﬂaque d’eau sur une route salée), ou de l’eau polluée ou

contaminée. L’eau salée est très conductrice et hautement corrosive.

Conditions d’utilisation

Votre récepteur fonctionnera parfaitement dans n’importe laquelle des

conditions suivantes:

• 2 heures de fonctionnement en continu dans de l’herbe ou de la végétation

couverte de rosée.

• 2 heures de fonctionnement en continu dans un brouillard épais

(95% d’humidité, air saturé, condensation).

• 1 heure de fonctionnement en continu sous une pluie légère

(< 2.5mm par heure).

• 15 minutes de fonctionnement en continu sous une forte pluie

(> 7.6mm par heure).

• 1 heure de fonctionnement en continu sous une faible chute de neige fondue

(< 2.5mm par heure).

(< 6.35mm par heure).

• 45 minutes de fonctionnement en continu dans de l’eau douce (la hauteur

d’eau doit être inférieure à la hauteur du châssis du véhicule), ou un

barbotage dans l’eau sans immerger les composants étanches.

• 5 minutes de fonctionnement en continu dans de l’eau douce (l’eau ne

doit pas dépasser une hauteur (environ 10 mm) au-dessus du châssis

du véhicule), barbotage constant dans l’eau, ou immersion fréquente

intermittente des composants étanches.

• 1 heure de fonctionnement en continu dans du sable humide, de la boue ou

de la neige (la matière du terrain doit toujours rester en dessous du châssis

du véhicule), projection constante sans immersion ou couverture des

composants étanches.

En outre, quand les procédures de maintenance (décrites ci-dessous) sont

exécutées promptement après l’exposition, le récepteur restera à long terme

protégé de l’oxydation et autres dégâts pouvant être causés par l’eau.

Maintenance en conditions humides

• Rincez délicatement le récepteur à l’aide d’un arrosoir aﬁn de retirer

la boue et la poussière.

• Retirez la batterie et séchez ses contacts.

• Si vous possédez un compresseur d’air ou une bombe d’air compressé,

soufﬂez le récepteur pour éliminer l’eau logée dans les renfoncements

et les recoins. Chassez toute l’humidité qui se trouve dans les ports.

• Laissez le récepteur sécher avant de le stocker. L’eau peut continuer

à s’écouler ou s’évaporer durant quelques heures.

REMARQUE : Ne jamais utiliser un nettoyeur haute-pression pour

nettoyer le véhicule.

REMARQUE : Le récepteur est conçu pour une utilisation en conditions

humides. Contrôlez que les autres éléments composant votre véhicule

sont étanches ou résistants aux projections avant de rouler en

conditions humides.

AVC – CONTRÔLE ACTIF DU VÉHICULE

La technologie AVC est la toute dernière innovation de la gamme Spektrum

de chez Horizon Hobby. Ce système de stabilisation Spektrum apporte une

toute nouvelle expérience dans pilotage RC. La technologie AVC utilise des

capteurs pour agir sur la sortie de la voie des gaz et de la direction, pour

plus de stabilité.

REMARQUE: Vous devez utiliser des servos digitaux avec le récepteur

SRS4210. L’utilisation de servos analogiques diminuera les performances

du système et risque de provoquer la surchauffe des servos.

avec tous les émetteurs Spektrum DSMR, mais est également

compatible avec les émetteurs DSM2. Le SR2000 N’EST PAS

Les voies auxiliaires peuvent servir à commander un servo additionnel, ou

d’alimentation pour une puce de comptage. Si l’AVC est activé, seules la voie

des gaz et de la direction seront opérationnelles, la voie Aux ne pourra servir

qu’a alimenter une puce de comptage ou des éclairages.

Si l’AVC est désactivé (Voir la section DESACTIVATION DE LA FONCTION DE

STABILISATION pour désactiver l’AVC), les voies auxiliaires pourront com-

mander des servos.

Branchements et installation du récepteur

Vous devez installer le récepteur dans le véhicule avant de l’affecter

à l’émetteur. Le récepteur peut être installé à plat avec l’étiquette sur

le dessus ou sur la tranche. Le système AVC détecte automatiquement

l’orientation du récepteur lors de l’affectation. Le récepteur doit être

placé totalement à plat l’étiquette vers le haut ou totalement à la

perpendiculaire quand il est installé sur sa tranche. Si le récepteur

est légèrement incliné, le fonctionnement de l’AVC sera

altéré. Si vous modiﬁez l’orientation du récepteur après

l’affectation, vous devrez le réaffecter de nouveau pour

le bon fonctionnement de l’AVC.

Installez le récepteur dans votre véhicule en utilisant la mousse adhésive

double face incluse. La mousse adhésive maintiendra le récepteur en

place tout en l’isolant des vibrations.

IMPORTANT: Ne ﬁxez pas le récepteur SRS4210 à l’aide de bande

auto-agrippante. Les performances du système AVC seraient dégradées.

L’antenne doit être guidée verticalement à l’aide d’un tube d’antenne.

Plus l’antenne sera élevée, meilleure sera la réception.

REMARQUE: Ne jamais couper ou modiﬁer l’antenne.

Failsafe (Les positions de sécurité intégrée)

Dans l’hypothèse peu probable d’une perte de liaison radio durant l’utilisation,

le récepteur ramènera la voie des gaz au neutre. Si le récepteur est mis sous

tension avant l’émetteur, le récepteur entrera en mode Failsafe, la voie des gaz

se mettra au neutre. Quand l’émetteur sera mis sous tension, les commandes

reprendront leur fonctionnement normal.

IMPORTANT: le Failsafe s’active uniquement en cas de perte du signal

de l’émetteur. Le Failsafe n’est PAS activé si la charge de la batterie du

récepteur est faible ou en cas de perte de puissance du récepteur.

IMPORTANT: Si vous agissez sur le trim des gaz ou de la direction

à l’émetteur, le récepteur devra être mis hors tension puis réactivé

pour enregistrer les nouvelles position des trims. Autrement l’AVC

ne fonctionnera pas correctement.

Affectation du récepteur à l’émetteur

L’affectation (ou Bind) est le processus consistant à renseigner le récepteur

sur le code spéciﬁque de l’émetteur, appelé identiﬁcateur unique global (GUID,

Globally Unique Identiﬁer), et à mémoriser les valeurs de sécurité intégrée.

Lorsqu’un récepteur est affecté à un émetteur/une mémoire de modèle, il

répond uniquement à cet émetteur/cette mémoire de modèle spéciﬁque

(voir ModelMatch pour plus d’informations).

Affectation et calibration du récepteur

Vous devrez recalibrer le récepteur à chaque affectation.

IMPORTANT: Veuillez parfaitement suivre l’ordre des étapes de la séquence

suivante aﬁn d’assurer le fonctionnement optimal de l’AVC.

1. Insérez la prise d’affectation dans le port BIND du récepteur.

2. Mettez le récepteur sous tension. La DEL orange clignote indiquant

que le récepteur est en mode affectation.

3. A l’émetteur mettez les trims ST TRIM et TH TRIM au neutre.

4. Placez votre émetteur en mode Affectation.

5. La DEL orange s’éclaire ﬁxement une fois le processus

d’affectation terminé.

6. Pressez la gâchette en position plein gaz.

7. Poussez la gâchette en position frein maxi, puis relâchez la gâchette

pour la replacer au neutre.

8. Tournez le volant complètement vers la droite.

9. Tournez le volant complètement vers la gauche, puis relâchez-le pour

le remettre au neutre. La DEL orange va clignoter une fois.

10. Retirez la prise d’affectation du récepteur une fois que l’affectation

et la calibration sont effectuées.

11. Mettez l’émetteur hors tension.

IMPORTANT: Vous devez réaffecter votre récepteur si vous :

• Avez inversé la direction du servo après l’affectation

• Avez modiﬁé la valeur de la course après l’affectation

• Souhaitez utiliser le récepteur sur une mémoire modèle différente

Si vous modiﬁez la direction ou la course d’un servo après l’affectation,

l’AVC ne fonctionnera pas correctement.

Désactivation de la fonction de stabilisation

Si vous participez à une course ofﬁcielle, vous devrez probablement dés-

activer le système AVC. Pour désactiver l’AVC, insérez une deuxième prise

d’affectation dans le port DISABLE (Désactivation), puis effectuez l’affectation.

IMPORTANT: Vous devez re-calibrer le récepteur à chaque affectation.

Pour activer l’AVC, consultez la section AFFECTATION ET CALIBRATION

GARANTIE ET RÉPARATIONS

Durée de la garantie

Garantie exclusive - Horizon Hobby, Inc. (Horizon) garantit que le Produit

acheté (le « Produit ») sera exempt de défauts matériels et de fabrication à sa

date d’achat par l’Acheteur. La durée de garantie correspond aux dispositions

légales du pays dans lequel le produit a été acquis. La durée de garantie est

de 6 mois et la durée d’obligation de garantie de 18 mois à l’expiration de

la période de garantie.

Limitations de la garantie

(a) La garantie est donnée à l’acheteur initial (« Acheteur ») et n’est pas trans-

férable. Le recours de l’acheteur consiste en la réparation ou en l‘échange

dans le cadre de cette garantie. La garantie s’applique uniquement aux

produits achetés chez un revendeur Horizon agréé. Les ventes faites à des tiers

ne sont pas couvertes par cette garantie. Les revendications en garantie seront

acceptées sur fourniture d’une preuve d’achat valide uniquement. Horizon se

réserve le droit de modiﬁer les dispositions de la présente garantie sans avis

préalable et révoque alors les dispositions de garantie existantes.

(b) Horizon n’endosse aucune garantie quant à la vendabilité du produit ou aux

capacités et à la forme physique de l’utilisateur pour une utilisation donnée du

produit. Il est de la seule responsabilité de l’acheteur de vériﬁer si le produit

correspond à ses capacités et à l’utilisation prévue.

fauts esthétiques ou les défauts provoqués par des cas de force majeure, une

de ce dernier ou encore des modiﬁcations de quelque nature qu’elles soient.

La garantie ne couvre pas les dégâts résultant d’un montage ou d’une

manipulation erronés, d’accidents ou encore du fonctionnement ainsi que des

tentatives d’entretien ou de réparation non effectuées par Horizon. Les retours

effectués par le fait de l’acheteur directement à Horizon ou à l’une de ses

représentations nationales requièrent une conﬁrmation écrite.

Horizon ne saurait être tenu pour responsable de dommages conséquents

directs ou indirects, de pertes de revenus ou de pertes commerciales, liés

de quelque manière que ce soit au produit et ce, indépendamment du fait

qu’un recours puisse être formulé en relation avec un contrat, la garantie

ou l’obligation de garantie. Par ailleurs, Horizon n’acceptera pas de recours

issus d’un cas de garantie lorsque ces recours dépassent la valeur unitaire du

produit. Horizon n’exerce aucune inﬂuence sur le montage, l’utilisation ou la

maintenance du produit ou sur d’éventuelles combinaisons de produits

choisies par l’acheteur. Horizon ne prend en compte aucune garantie et

n‘accepte aucun recours pour les blessures ou les dommages pouvant

en résulter. En utilisant et en montant le produit, l’acheteur accepte sans

restriction ni réserve toutes les dispositions relatives à la garantie ﬁgurant

Maintenance et réparation

Si votre produit doit faire l’objet d’une maintenance ou d‘une réparation,

adressez-vous soit à votre revendeur spécialisé, soit directement à Horizon.

Emballez le produit soigneusement. Veuillez noter que le carton d‘emballage

d’origine ne sufﬁt pas, en règle générale, à protéger le produit des dégâts

pouvant survenir pendant le transport. Faites appel à un service de messagerie

proposant une fonction de suivi et une assurance, puisque Horizon ne prend

aucune responsabilité pour l’expédition du produit jusqu’à sa réception accep-

tée. Veuillez joindre une preuve d’achat, une description détaillée des défauts

ainsi qu’une liste de tous les éléments distincts envoyés. Nous avons de plus

besoin d’une adresse complète, d’un numéro de téléphone (pour demander

des renseignements) et d’une adresse de courriel.

Réparations payantes

En cas de réparation payante, nous établissons un devis que nous transmet-

tons à votre revendeur. La réparation sera seulement effectuée après que

nous ayons reçu la conﬁrmation du revendeur. Le prix de la réparation devra

être acquitté au revendeur. Pour les réparations payantes, nous facturons au

minimum 30 minutes de travail en atelier ainsi que les frais de réexpédition.

En l’absence d’un accord pour la réparation dans un délai de 90 jours, nous

nous réservons la possibilité de détruire le produit ou de l’utiliser autrement.

ATTENTION : Nous n’effectuons de réparations payantes que pour

les composants électroniques et les moteurs. Les réparations touchant à la

mécanique, en particulier celles des hélicoptères et des voitures

radiocommandées, sont extrêmement coûteuses et doivent par

conséquent être effectuées par l’acheteur lui-même.

COMPONENTI IMPERMEABILI

Il vostro nuovo ricevitore Spektrum è stato progettato e costruito per

poter usare il vostro veicolo sul bagnato, incluse pozzanghere, ruscelli,

erba bagnata, neve e anche pioggia.

Sebbene sia resistente all’acqua, questo componente non è stato progettato

per stare immerso in acqua per lunghi periodi e NON si può trattare come

fosse un sottomarino. Inoltre molte parti metalliche, inclusi viti e dadi, come

pure i contatti sui cavi elettrici, sono suscettibili di corrosione se non si fa

una particolare manutenzione dopo l’uso in condizioni di bagnato.

Per prolungare al massimo le prestazioni nel tempo vostro ricevitore

e tenere valida la garanzia, lo si può usare solo nel modo descritto nella

sezione “Condizioni d’uso” di questo manuale. In aggiunta, le procedure

descritte nella sezione “Manutenzione in condizioni di bagnato”, si devono

applicare regolarmente se si sceglie di usarlo in queste condizioni. Se non

siete disposti ad eseguire questa manutenzione aggiuntiva, allora dovete

evitare di utilizzare il veicolo in condizioni di bagnato.

ATTENZIONE: La mancata applicazione di queste cautele mentre si

usa questo prodotto e il rispetto delle seguenti precauzioni, potrebbe portare

ad un malfunzionamento del prodotto e/o ad invalidare la garanzia.

Precauzioni generali

Leggere attentamente le procedure di manutenzione in condizioni di bagnato,

per essere sicuri di avere tutte le attrezzature necessarie per questo scopo.

Non utilizzate il vostro ricevitore quando c’è il rischio che entri in contatto

con acqua salata (acqua marina o acqua proveniente da una strada su cui

sia stato sparso del sale), acqua contaminata o inquinata. L’acqua salata è

molto conduttiva e altamente corrosiva, perciò bisogna usare molta cautela.

Condizioni di utilizzo

Questo ricevitore funzionerà correttamente in ognuna delle seguenti situazioni:

• 2 ore di funzionamento continuo in erba o vegetazione coperta da rugiada

(bagnata).

• 2 ore di funzionamento continuo in nebbia ﬁtta (95% di umidità, aria satura,

condensazione di acqua).

• 1 ora di funzionamento continuo in pioggia leggera (< di 2,5 mm/ora).

• 15 minuti di funzionamento continuo sotto la pioggia intensa (> 7,6 mm/ora).

• 1 ora di funzionamento continuo con nevischio leggero (< di 2,5 mm/ora).

• 1 ora di funzionamento continuo con neve leggera (< di 6,35 mm/ora).

• 45 minuti di funzionamento continuo stando fermi o correndo in acqua

dolce corrente (il livello dell’acqua dovrebbe stare sempre sotto al telaio

del veicolo), o spruzzi costanti di acqua, senza alcuna immersione dei

componenti impermeabili.

• 5 minuti di funzionamento continuo stando fermi o correndo in acqua dolce

corrente (il livello dell’acqua non dovrebbe mai superare i 10 mm al di sopra

del telaio del veicolo), spruzzi costanti o frequenti di acqua, immersioni

intermittenti dei componenti impermeabili.

• 1 ora di funzionamento continuo in sabbia umida, sporcizia, fango o neve

(il loro livello deve sempre stare al disotto del telaio del veicolo), spruzzi

costanti senza immersione o copertura dei componenti impermeabili.

Inoltre, se si esegue un’adeguata manutenzione (come descritta più avanti)

subito dopo l’esposizione all’acqua, il ricevitore resterà ben protetto dalla

corrosione o da altri danni a lungo termine, derivanti dall’acqua.

Manutenzione in condizioni di bagnato

• Risciacquate con cura il fango e la sporcizia dal veicolo con un getto

di acqua.

• Togliete la batteria (o le batterie) e asciugate i contatti.

• Se avete a disposizione dell’aria compressa, sofﬁate sul ricevitore per

togliere i residui di acqua eventualmente rimasti nelle piccole fessure

e negli angoli. Asciugate l’acqua rimasta all’interno dei connettori.

• Lasciate che il ricevitore si asciughi all’aria prima di riporlo.

L’acqua continuerà a sgocciolare o ad evaporare per alcune ore.

AVVISO: In questi casi non usate acqua sotto pressione per pulire

il vostro veicolo.

AVVISO: Il ricevitore è impermeabilizzato per poterlo usare in condizioni

di bagnato. Prima di usare il veicolo in queste condizioni, accertatevi che

gli altri componenti del veicolo siano impermeabili o resistenti all’acqua.

AVC - CONTROLLO ATTIVO DEL VEICOLO

La tecnologia AVC è una novità Spektrum RC da Horizon Hobby. Questo

sistema di stabilizzazione Spektrum aggiunge un nuovo livello di controllo

alla vostra esperienza nel pilotaggio RC. La tecnologia AVC utilizza dei sensori

per regolare sterzo e motore fornendo una guida più stabile e controllata.

AVVISO: Con il ricevitore SR4210 bisogna usare dei servi digitali. Se

si usassero dei servi analogici, le prestazioni del sistema sarebbero

ridotte causando anche un surriscaldamento dei servi stessi.

retroattivo con i trasmettitori DSM2. Il ricevitore SRS4210 NON

Canali AUX

I canali AUX possono controllare dei servi aggiuntivi oppure alimentare

un transponder personale. Se l’AVC è attivo, restano operativi solo 2

canali (sterzo e motore). I canali AUX si possono usare per alimentare

un transponder personale o delle luci.

Se l’AVC non è attivo (si veda il relativo paragrafo sul manuale),

i canali AUX si possono usare per comandare dei servi aggiuntivi.

Installare il ricevitore sul veicolo usando il nastro in spugna biadesiva

fornito, in questo modo, oltre a tenere fermo il ricevitore, lo si protegge

anche dalle vibrazioni.

IMPORTANTE: Per installare il ricevitore SRS4210 non usare materiale a

strappo, altrimenti si andrebbe a inﬂuire sulle prestazioni del sistema AVC.

Montare l’antenna nella parte alta del veicolo usando un tubetto per

tenerla lontano dal telaio, più è alta e meglio riceve il segnale.

AVVISO: Non tagliare o modiﬁcare l’antenna.

Failsafe

Nel malaugurato caso che si perda il collegamento radio durante l’utilizzo,

il ricevitore manderà il servo del motore nella posizione neutra (motore al

minimo). Se si accende il ricevitore prima del trasmettitore, il ricevitore entrerà

in modalità Failsafe portando il canale del motore nel suo punto neutro.

Quando si accende il trasmettitore, tutto torna normale.

IMPORTANTE: Il Failsafe si attiva solo nel caso che venga perso il segnale del

suo trasmettitore. Non si attiverà se la batteria del ricevitore scende sotto alla

sua tensione minima o se il ricevitore non è più alimentato.

Collegamenti al ricevitore e installazione

Prima di connettere (binding) il trasmettitore al ricevitore, bisogna aver già in-

stallato il ricevitore sul veicolo. Il ricevitore si può montare piatto con l’etichetta

rivolta verso l’alto o appoggiandolo su di un ﬁanco. Quando si connette il ricevi-

tore, il sistema AVC riconosce automaticamente l’orientamento del ricevitore.

Quando l’etichetta è rivolta verso l’alto, il ricevitore deve essere perfettamente

piatto o perfettamente perpendicolare quando è montato su di un

ﬁanco. Se il ricevitore fosse inclinato anche leggermente,

l’AVC non funzionerebbe correttamente. Se si cambia

l’orientamento del ricevitore dopo la connessione,

bisogna rifarla per avere un funzionamento corretto.

IMPORTANTE: Se sul trasmettitore si regolano i trim di sterzo e motore,

per registrare la loro posizione bisogna spegnere e riaccendere il ricevitore.

In caso contrario il sistema AVC non funzionerebbe regolarmente.

Connessione (Binding) del ricevitore al trasmettitore

Questa procedura programma il ricevitore a riconoscere il numero unico

GUID del “suo” trasmettitore. Una volta connesso, il ricevitore risponder

solo a quel trasmettitore.

Connettere e calibrare il ricevitore

Tutte le volte che si entra nella procedura di connessione bisogna calibrare

il ricevitore.

IMPORTANTE: Bisogna attenersi scrupolosamente alla seguente procedura

per avere l’AVC che funziona correttamente.

1. Inserire il Bind Plug nella presa BIND del ricevitore.

2. Accendere il ricevitore. Il LED arancio lampeggia indicando che

il ricevitore è pronto per la connessione.

3. Sul trasmettitore centrare ST TRIM e TH TRIM.

4. Mettere il trasmettitore in modalità per la connessione (bind).

5. La procedura di connessione è completa quando il LED arancio

del ricevitore resta acceso ﬁsso.

6. Con il grilletto del trasmettitore mettere il motore al massimo.

7. Portare il grilletto del trasmettitore nella posizione di massimo freno,

poi riportarlo al centro.

8. Portare il volantino del trasmettitore completamente a destra.

9. Portare il volantino del trasmettitore completamente a sinistra, poi

riportarlo al centro. Il LED arancio lampeggia una volta.

10. Quando la procedura di connessione e di calibrazione sono terminate,

si può togliere il Bind Plug.

11. Spegnere il trasmettitore.

IMPORTANTE: Nei seguenti casi bisogna rifare la connessione fra

trasmettitore e ricevitore:

• Si è fatto un Reverse dopo la connessione

• Si è cambiata una corsa dopo la connessione

• Si vuole usare il ricevitore con un altro modello in memoria

Se si cambia il Reverse di un servo o si regola una corsa, l’AVC non

lavorerà correttamente.

Disabilitare la funzione di assistenza alla stabilità

Se si partecipa ad una gara, potrebbe essere richiesto di disabilitare il sistema

AVC. Per disabilitare il sistema AVC, inserire un secondo Bind Plug nella porta

Disable prima di fare la connessione.

IMPORTANTE: Tutte le volte che si fa la connessione (bind), bisogna calibrare

il ricevitore. Per attivare l’AVC, si veda il relativo paragrafo sul manuale.

GARANZIA

Periodo di garnzia

Horizon Hobby, Inc., (Horizon) garantisce che i prodotti acquistati (il “Prodotto”)

sono privi di difetti relativi ai materiali e di eventuali errori di montaggio. Il

periodo di garanzia è conforme alle disposizioni legali del paese nel quale il

prodotto è stato acquistato. Tale periodo di garanzia ammonta a 6 mesi e si

estende ad altri 18 mesi dopo tale termine.

Limiti della garanzia

(a) La garanzia è limitata all’acquirente originale (Acquirente) e non è cedibile a

terzi. L’acquirente ha il diritto a far riparare o a far sostituire la merce durante

il periodo di questa garanzia. La garanzia copre solo quei prodotti acquistati

presso un rivenditore autorizzato Horizon. Altre transazioni di terze parti non

sono coperte da questa garanzia. La prova di acquisto è necessaria per far

valere il diritto di garanzia. Inoltre, Horizon si riserva il diritto di cambiare o

modiﬁcare i termini di questa garanzia senza alcun preavviso e di escludere

tutte le altre garanzie già esistenti.

(b) Horizon non si assume alcuna garanzia per la disponibilità del prodotto, per

l’adeguatezza o l’idoneità del prodotto a particolari previsti dall’utente. È sola

responsabilità dell’acquirente il fatto di veriﬁcare se il prodotto è adatto agli

scopi da lui previsti.

decisioni relative alla sostituzione o alla riparazione avvengono solo in base alla

discrezione di Horizon. Questa garanzia non copre dei danni superﬁciali o danni

per cause di forza maggiore, uso errato del prodotto, negligenza, uso ai ﬁni

commerciali, o una qualsiasi modiﬁca a qualsiasi parte del prodotto.

Questa garanzia non copre danni dovuti ad una installazione errata, ad un

funzionamento errato, ad una manutenzione o un tentativo di riparazione non

idonei a cura di soggetti diversi da Horizon. La restituzione del prodotto a cura

dell’acquirente, o da un suo rappresentante, deve essere approvata per iscritto

dalla Horizon.

Limiti di danno

Horizon non si riterrà responsabile per danni speciali, diretti, indiretti o conse-

quenziali; perdita di proﬁtto o di produzione; perdita commerciale connessa al

prodotto, indipendentemente dal fatto che la richiesta si basa su un contratto

o sulla garanzia. Inoltre la responsabilità di Horizon non supera mai in nessun

caso il prezzo di acquisto del prodotto per il quale si chiede la responsabilità.

Horizon non ha alcun controllo sul montaggio, sull’utilizzo o sulla manutenzione

del prodotto o di combinazioni di vari prodotti. Quindi Horizon non accetta

nessuna responsabilità per danni o lesioni derivanti da tali circostanze. Con

l’utilizzo e il montaggio del prodotto l’utente acconsente a tutte le condizioni,

limitazioni e riserve di garanzia citate in questa sede. Qualora l’utente non

fosse pronto ad assumersi tale responsabilità associata all’uso del prodotto, si

suggerisce di restituire il prodotto intatto, mai usato e immediatamente presso

il venditore.

Indicazioni di sicurezza

Questo è un prodotto soﬁsticato di hobbistica e non è un giocattolo. Esso deve

essere manipolato con cautela, con giudizio e richiede delle conoscenze basi-

lari di meccanica e delle facoltà mentali di base. Se il prodotto non verrà ma-

nipolato in maniera sicura e responsabile potrebbero risultare delle lesioni, dei

gravi danni a persone, al prodotto o all’ambiente circostante. Questo prodotto

non è concepito per essere usato dai bambini senza una diretta supervisione

di un adulto. Il manuale del prodotto contiene le istruzioni di sicurezza, di

funzionamento e di manutenzione del prodotto stesso. È fondamentale leggere

e seguire tutte le istruzioni e le avvertenze nel manuale prima di mettere in

incidenti, lesioni o danni.

Domande, assistenza e riparazioni

Il vostro negozio locale e/o luogo di acquisto non possono fornire garanzie di

assistenza o riparazione senza previo colloquio con Horizon. Questo vale anche

per le riparazioni in garanzia. Quindi in tale casi bisogna interpellare un rivendi-

tore, che si metterà in contatto subito con Horizon per prendere una decisione

che vi possa aiutare nel più breve tempo possibile.

Manutenzione e riparazione

Se il prodotto deve essere ispezionato o riparato, si prega di rivolgersi ad

un rivenditore specializzato o direttamente ad Horizon. Il prodotto deve es-

sere Imballato con cura. Bisogna far notare che i box originali solitamente

non sono adatti per effettuare una spedizione senza subire alcun danno.

Bisogna effettuare una spedizione via corriere che fornisce una tracciabilità

e un’assicurazione, in quanto Horizon non si assume alcuna responsabilità in

relazione alla spedizione del prodotto. Inserire il prodotto in una busta assieme

ad una descrizione dettagliata degli errori e ad una lista di tutti i singoli compo-

nenti spediti. Inoltre abbiasmo bisogno di un indirizzo completo, di un numnero

di telefono per chiedere ulteriori domande e di un indirizzo e-mail.

Garanzia a riparazione

Le richieste in garanzia verranno elaborate solo se è presente una prova

d’acquisto in originale proveniente da un rivenditore specializzato autorizzato,

nella quale è ben visibile la data di acquisto. Se la garanzia viene confermata,

allora il prodotto verrà riparato o sostituito. Questa decisione spetta esclusiva-

mente a Horizon Hobby.

Iparazioni a pagamento

Se bisogna effettuare una riparazione a pagamento, effettueremo un preventivo

che verrà inoltrato al vostro rivenditore. La riparazione verrà effettuata dopo

l’autorizzazione da parte del vostro rivenditore. La somma per la riparazione

dovrà essere pagata al vostro rivenditore. Le riparazioni a pagamento avranno

un costo minimo di 30 minuti di lavoro e in fattura includeranno le spese di

restituzione. Qualsiasi riparazione non pagata e non richiesta entro 90 giorni

verrà considerata abbandonata e verrà gestita di conseguenza.

ATTENZIONE: Le riparazioni a pagamento sono disponibili solo

sull’elettronica e sui motori. Le riparazioni a livello meccanico,

soprattutto per gli elicotteri e le vetture RC sono molto costose e devono

essere effettuate autonomamente dall’acquirente.
