Operation tips
Using the function key
• When the AM04 is powered off, press and hold the function key for 2 to 4 seconds to power on the AM04 or
more than 4 seconds to pair the AM04 with another device.
• Press the function key to answer a call or press and hold the function key for 2 to 4 seconds to ignore a call.
• When the AM04 is powered on and connected to a mobile phone, press the function key twice to redial the
last number dialed or press and hold the function key for more than 4 seconds to power off the AM04.
Pairing with two mobile phones
1. Pair the AM04 with the first mobile phone. Then power off the AM04.
2. Press and hold the function key for more than 4 seconds to pair the AM04 with the second mobile phone.
3. Re-pair the AM04 with the first mobile phone.
If the pairing is successful, you can use the AM04 to handle calls on both mobile phones and listen to music from
the second mobile phone.
The first mobile phone may display a "No media" message. In this case, you can use the AM04 to handle
calls, but not to listen to music from the first phone.
Voice answering
When a call is received, you will hear "Say a command: Answer, Ignore." To answer the call, say "Answer." To
ignore the call, say "Ignore."
Controlling music playback
When the AM04 is powered on and connected to a mobile phone, press and hold the volume up and down keys
simultaneously for 2 to 4 seconds to access the music playback screen.
During music playback, press and hold the volume up or down key for 2 to 4 seconds to switch between songs,
or press and hold the volume up and down keys simultaneously for 1 second or more to pause or continue the
playback.
Deep sleep mode
The Bluetooth range for the AM04 is 10 meters (32.8 feet). If this range is exceeded or there are too many
obstacles between the AM04 and a Bluetooth capable device, the AM04 may disconnect from the device.
Within 60 minutes of disconnection, if the AM04 comes within the Bluetooth range or obstacles are removed,
the AM04 automatically connects to the two devices to which it most recently connected. If the AM04 remains
disconnected for more than 60 minutes, it automatically enters deep sleep mode (a powered-off state). To use
the AM04 again, press and hold the function key for 2 to 4 seconds to power it on.
