13 FM Transmitter Your mobile phone supports the Frequency Modulation (FM) function. With FM Transmitter, you can transmit FM signal in a certain distance and receive the signal through a wireless receiving device such as an FM radio. • Select: Select a default transmitting frequency. • Auto inching: Automatically search a proper transmitting frequency. To use the FM Transmitter function on your mobile phone, perform the following: Open the cover of the multi-purpose interface, as shown in the following figure. Select Options and you can perform the folllowing: • Manual inching: Manually tune a transmitting frequency. Select Save to save the changes or Cancel to cancel the changes. Note Tuning the frequency on the receiving device to the same frequency as the FM Transmitter. Then, the receiving device can receive signals. Insert the FM Transmitter into your mobile phone. The icon is displayed on the standby screen. The following figure shows how to insert the FM Transmitter. When playing audio files, you can select Options > FM Transmitter to transmit the broadcasting to the receiving device. Charger connector You can also transmit FM signal when there is an active call. Press the OK key to select the FM mode. Then the handset is shielded. The other party's voice is broadcasetd through the FM radio. Your voice is transmitted to the other party's mobile phone through the microphone. With golden contact down. Select Organiser & Tools > FM Transmitter. Scroll up or down to select an available transmitting frequency. Note • When charging the battery, please turn off FM trasimitter. • When using FM Transmitter, make sure the distance between the FM ransmitter and persons is at least 20cm.
