The MegaNAC 180 high-density, dial access POS concentrator with faulttolerant, multi-function architecture interconnects into elegant, intelligent
networks. It handles a variety of access modes and protocols in the most
demanding environments, including T1/E1 digital interfacing, and delivers

low cost-per-port benefits. The MegaNAC 180 has hot-swappable port
processors and a reduced footprint which takes up less space.
The MegaNAC 180 chassis provides a full suite of uplink connections to
support POS host mainframes requiring support of X.25, TCP/IP or SNA
protocols. It also supports network access via CAS signaling (MFR1, MFR2
Slim profile for rack mounting

and Immediate Start) and CCS signaling for support of ISDN/PRI.
As technology moves faster and faster, the MegaNAC 180 plays a
strategic role in the Hypercom framework. Network owners know they can
