This adapter upgrades a computer to Bluetooth 4.0 compatibility and is backward compatible for a keyboard, mouse or headset with Bluetooth version 2.0, 2.1, and 3.0. Please read this user’s guide before using your new adapter.Package Contents • Bluetooth USB Adapter • Driver CD • User’s GuideSystem Requirements • Windows® 10, Windows 8, Windows 7 • At least 500MB of free disk  • CD-ROM driveInstall the SoftwareIMPORTANT!If you have any previous version of Bluetooth software already installed, you must uninstall the software before installing the software on the Driver CD.1.  Turn on your computer and insert the Driver CD.2.  Double-click the setup.exe fi le to run the setup program. 3.  Follow the on-screen instructions to install the Bluesoleil software.4.  When installation is complete, click Finish. 5.   You will be asked to restart your computer for confi guration changes to take eff ect, click Yes to restart.Connect Device1.  Plug the adapter into your computer’s USB port. The adapter’s blue LED fl ashes when it is ready for use.2.  Turn on your device and activate its Bluetooth function making sure it is discoverable (refer to your device’s user’s guide).3.  Open    BlueSoleil Space on your computer.Search for Nearby DevicesDouble-click on the yellow globe in the center or right-click on it and select Search Devices to search for nearby bluetooth devices. Found device icon(s) appear on the BlueSoleil Space interface. Pair a DeviceRight-click on your device icon and select Pair. When pairing is successful, a green connected icon Right-click on your device icon and select  appears next to your paired device icon.Note:  • If a password is required when pairing, refer to your device user’s guide for details. • If you are pairing with a smartphone, you are required to enter the same passkey on your phone and on your PC. Search Available Service1.  Double-click on the connected device or right-click on it and select Search Service. Services that support your device activates and become selectable at the top of BlueSoleil Space. 2.  Double-click on activated service icons to establish connection.
