2604600 User’s Guide BLUETOOTH USB ADAPTER ® 1. Plug the adapter into your computer’s USB port. The adapter’s blue LED flashes when it is ready for use. 2. Turn on your device and activate its Bluetooth function making sure it is discoverable (refer to your device’s user’s guide). Windows® 10, Windows 8, Windows 7 Object Push Double-click on the yellow globe in the center or right-click on it and select Search Devices to search for nearby bluetooth devices. Found device icon(s) appear on the BlueSoleil Space interface. Pair a Device CD-ROM drive Install the Software Right-click on your device icon and select Pair. When pairing is appears next to your successful, a green connected icon paired device icon. IMPORTANT! Note: Turn on your computer and insert the Driver CD. Double-click the setup.exe fi le to run the setup program. 3. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the Bluesoleil software. 4. When installation is complete, click Finish. 5. You will be asked to restart your computer for confi guration changes to take effect, click Yes to restart. • If a password is required when pairing, refer to your device user’s guide for details. • If you are pairing with a smartphone, you are required to enter the same passkey on your phone and on your PC.
